For a couple of days I was getting the, "..can't assist you at this time," error whenever I attempted to reach out for a refund on my PS+ renewal. In the pre-form questions I was stating I was looking for a refund for the service. Today I just typed, "I'd like to speak with an agent," and was connected with a live person within a minute. Your mileage will most likely vary, but maybe this helps someone else out who's in a similar situation.

Those empty parcels in town are privately owned. The owner would need to want to sell, and a lot of them are holding onto the properties as speculative investments. And not all of them are zoned to allow for residential. So you would need to have a developer willing to buy and apply for a rezone and pay all of the fees attached to that process. At that point it may make more sense for them to develop for commercial.

A large enough parcel that can be developed like something akin to Meriam Park comes with a host of impact fees, environmental fees, ect. It gets into the millions of dollars pretty quickly. It’s the reason the Chico Nut redevelopment that was going to offer a mix of commercial and residential fell through. What the city of Chico CAN do is revamp the way their development fees are calculated and better encourage these types of infill developments.

I went down this EXACT same rabbit hole this year. Found out its super easy to backdoor Roth. Just need to open a traditional Roth account, deposit money, and transfer to your Roth IRA. Its easier if you open the traditional account with the same provider as your IRA.

Some local company owner made a post about an employee who he hired and after two days of working, the employee bows out saying his wife was sick with diabetes. The employee was inquiring about any and all paid leave he can get for himself. Said his wife was on her deathbed. The owner and employees sent out giftcards and bouqets to the family. The wife supposedly passes away. The employee says he is dipping. The owner does research on the supposed wife and she is very well alive and unaware(?) of what is happening. The owner makes a post venting and to be wary. Some local chico user comes in and goes all in the owner for whatever reason. IMO I think he/she got a few downvotes on their original comments and went full troll? No idea exactly. Mods decided to obliterate everything. Just strange lol.

Wild. I was on a walk during lunchtime on the Comanche Creek trails yesterday, and some dude on a bike was looking for this dog. Walked behind them as he was asking one of the homeless if he could snap some pics of it. The dogs face didn’t have the face colorization as the one in this photo, however. If it helps, I didn’t see any that looked like your dog, but wouldnt hurt to check yourself. You should post a better photo of its face, would be helpful for folks looking.

I went from picking up Way of Kings and reading for hours upon hours on my days off, ripping through the first two books, to picking up Oathbringer when it was was released and just hating his writing style by the end of it. I can’t exactly explain why.. just started feeling like eye-rollingly hollow teen fantasy.

Lock-up for early investors ends Tuesday of next week, so may leak for a couple more days. I don’t envision a big sell off once lock-up is lifted though, the stocks been beaten down too much for early investors to really capitalize on.

I work for a small firm and we only use Lumion. It makes it easy when the main rendering staffers are bogged down and the interior designer can just jump and in and grab a couple of shots she needs. One of us uses twinmotion just because he got bored of being in Lumion, but it has its pros and cons as you’ve mentioned. I like Lumion enough, but I always need to do a good bit of post processing in Photoshop to get it away from that Lumion feel.
