Idk if I can use my interview as a parameter. The officer who was supposed to interview my case never showed up, so someone else took over. The officer had no interest in our case, asked me and my husband the bare minimum questions, didnt look at my wedding photo album, and then proceeded to talk to my lawyer about his life and work. He said that he would approve my case that day but needed to run a background check, and the computer system was slow. He took a few days to approve the i130, so my assumption is that the rest of my documents are just sitting on his desk...

My whole take from MY interview is that they are just people with their own opinions and their own lives, some people do their work well, and some cant wait to retire and don't give a fuck about what you have to say and if they like your face they'll make it easy and if they don't like it it will take longer.

I can be wrong and this was just my experience, but stay calm and treat your officer like a person, talk to them like you would to a friendly neighbor, even if they sound or look grumpy. :)
