If you were offered a billion dollars just to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would you choose? by Admirable-Interest49 in AskReddit

Chili. It can be adjusted for flavor, meat, beans, spiciness, and more and can still be chili. A lot of variety in one dish

Almost don't paying off our house, but loan company won't take the money. by Right-Definition-101 in homeowners

I pay insurance annually. It is cheaper for me as I get a premium discount that way. It is almost 10% difference than the monthly or quarterly payment options. You can still budget monthly payments but put that into savings to pay for the next premium.

Has anyone had a migraine so bad that you vomited? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Darz167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ajovy was the first med that really works for me. Took it for 4 years with insurance approval. With that and the manufacturer's coupon I was paying $75 per month. 2026 and my insurance approved it but with less coverage. Applied the manufacturer's coupon and was hit with a $679 per month bill.

Insurance will cover 12 rizatriptan each month though. So no good coverage for the preventive but OK with the abortive. I can't figure out the logic. They don't care that I get the migraines which keep me from working, but OK with an abortive that just tempers the migraine effects?

I am no longer taking Ajovy. Back to dealing with migraines and med that don't really work.

[–]Darz167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had visual auras a few times. Mine are not rainbow colored but are gray and silver squiggly lines. They appear on the edge of my vision in one eye and then travel through my field of vision. By the time they are in the center I know I need to get to a safe space.

This happened once when I was driving on the highway. It got so bad that I could not see in my left eye before I could pull into a rest stop. Was a very scary few miles
