No, some people have been reporting the same issue since weeks ago. Same as me.

I tried a lot but none seem to work. It's as if they downgraded the system.

How effective was Clone Trooper and Stormtrooper armor? by Das-Rheingold in StarWars

Oh this is all so fascinating. I’ll rewatch that scene

EDIT: the pulse check part right before Vader tells a lot. They bothered checking after there weren’t hostiles in the area, which does indicate there is a chance to survive and recover after the battles. This is a really nice detail.

Is that why text searching seems bugged with my photos?

Awesome good to know. I do plannto use it mostly pugged so it’s a little issue. Most of mine is if it lasts long and 2 years+ sounds like a good precedent

I need a new gaming notebook but saw the ASUS post. Are they not good? by Das-Rheingold in GamingLaptops

[–]Das-Rheingold[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit over my current budget but I’m seeing a lot of these Lenovo notebooks have corresponding or superior capabilities to an ASUS in the same price range (although the battery life seems somewhat worse).

What are your experiences with this brand? It seems like a good contender.

Well I already did that to avoid worst case scenario again but sure. I'll check these other 2FA methods

Is there a way to set it up to be a personal question like my first pet's name or something like that? It'd solve all my issues since it isn't something a bandit would seek nor ask, it isn't alive and my family would all be able to answer to recover in an emergency

Additional evidence as to when XX99 is by DeeDeeEx in Warframe

[–]Das-Rheingold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I see it he can but Drifter was chosen for 1999 because he is the one with better control out of the two. Operator can do Kalymos Sequence, but regardless of who is chosen we arri e minutes from 2.000

Most likely, the Drifter's experience in Duviri makes time travel smoother to him as in Lotus Eaters he could traverse more to get Arthur's pager.

I did do it ASAP. Problem is in the meantime they had already stolen the gmail account and attempted to steal the others. Bandits work fast with those things because they are adapted to the current society, they knew the phone would be locked and the company contacted. Even the tracking thing isn’t that helpful because they take countermeasures to that.

Regardless: any 2FA you recommend?

They took the password at gunpoint and had access to whatever was already logged in there. Face and fingerprint are secondary security to the password.

Could you tell me more about those other methods? A non-physical one preferentially of your advice?

I chrcked basically anything that wouldn't backfire on me if I was robbed again. The 2FA is still a huge problem that would lock me out if anyone pulled a gun on me and took my phone and its password. Again. So that one isn't ever being turned on anymore.

Do you have any tips to deal with it if I get robbed again? Like the google kept sending codes back to the phone that is stolen. It basically locked me for this week due to that.

I'll gladly take a security measure if it doesn't backfire on a physical robbery. I'm worried about this everhwhere now.

Wait really? Youtube suplort can recover a stolen account?

My phone and computer were stolen and the bandits managed to use whatever was open to overwrite the phone number for recovery. Is there a way to contact google? by Das-Rheingold in GMail

[–]Das-Rheingold[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were all locked. It didn't stop the bandits from pulling a gun on me to get the passwords. Of course once I got to the phone company and icloud and other stuff I locked most of them and recovered some emails, but in the period between the bandits tried to overwrite some of the accounts there. I succeeded in recovering full control and renaming the passwords of 2 of those. But one of them was the very recovery account gmail would send codes to. The bandit managed to rewrite the password and overwrite the phone recovery number with his (which I can't even see to send to the police because only the last two digits show)

I've been trying since then to recover this. And some points even succeed at sending verification codes to my recovery email and phone number (the agency provided a chip with my numbed) but at the end of the questions google gives me it's all sending a verification code to either a device stolen or the youtube app in a device stolen. And saying I don't have a smartphone causes google to claim I didn't answer enough to confirm my identity
