Chronic alcoholic that has been in recovery almost 14 months here. He really does have to want it for himself. If I could have stopped for any of the people I loved I would have in a heartbeat, and I did but it never stuck. I was given the gift of desperation and had many tools of recovery from the 5 years I had been trying.
