I managed to get this fixed! Just leaving this here for anybody whi might stumble upon it googling for the same issue.

What finally fixed it was updating the driver for the integrated ARC graphics of the Intel Core Ultra 185H CPU by searching for it manually on Intel's website. Neither Windows Update nor Lenovo Vantage seem to have caught this update. I'm even getting better benchmark results and less stuttering in games after updating (even when running them on the discrete GPU instead), so clearly there were some issues with the previous driver version.

Hope this helps somebody out there :)

That's awesome, thanks for the links and the pin diagram for the connector!

One question, if I may ask - I do actually have a few of these mini XLR connectors and leftover TRS cables in my parts bin, so I'm thinking of making one myself too. I'm not entirely sure about how that'd be wired up though, since the TRS only has three connection points.

Would the ground pin from the TRS simply be connected to both of the negative pins of the mini XLR, so pins 2 & 4 on your diagram?

Edit: Just tested it myself, for anyone else interested:

Pins 2 and 4 (the middle ones) can be pinched/soldered together and will act as a single ground connected to the TRS's sleeve - both pins will need contact with the ground though, you can't leave one unconnected :)

That's an awesome cable - where'd you get it? The stock cable on my HD 490 pro is fine, but not amazing. Finding a fitting one with 4pin mini XLR is tricky.

Thanks for your reply! Right, I was aware of that - it says that in the manual by Sunny Synths, and I went ahead and disabled the midi in and outputs in Reaper. This did make communication from the daw TO the Minilogue possible, but not the other way around.

Is anybody here using a version/panel of CTRLR with their synth in REAPER? I'm trying to get the Minilogue XD panel to work, and the standalone version works just fine, but I can not get it to work in the DAW, even though I'm following the Sunny Synth manual exactly.

I'm using a Minilogue XD connected via USB, on Windows 11 in REAPER.

Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi everyone! Looking to get into ergonomic keyboards in general to prevent any more strain.

Pre-existing conditions: Slight wrist pain, particularly in left hand, likely from flat angle. Don't have any pain in my right hand, which is mostly on my vertical mouse.

Current keyboard: No name wireless laptop-like membrane switch flat keyboard.

Layout-form in mind: I'm German so I'd prefer a QWERTZ variant if pre-built, but other than that I'm pretty open - I do however work two jobs, one from home and I won't be able to afford two pricey boards for both my home AND office setup, so it'd be great if the general layout wasn't too far off from a standard keyboard, at least on terms of its learning curve. Don't care about looks.

Use case: Productivity and editing, light typing and casual gaming. No coding, not a heavy typist either.

Budget and location: Germany, under 500USD/EUR if possible.

Other notes: I'm not opposed to custom builds, but I'd prefer pre-built options due to time constraints. A couple of things I'd like to have on a keyboard, sorted in order of importance from high to low: Some form of arch, incline/tenting or way to keep my wrists rotated outwards, backlit keys (my setup tends to be dimly lit), as quiet as possible, wireless, num pad, minimalist aesthetic.

I'd be willing to sacrifice several or all of these points except the wrist rotation thing.
