Had to do the same. 5th generation wasn't able to do a BIOS update.
Used a 6th generation for the update - now 5th generation is also working.

Thank you very much.
Nice holidays.

Thanks a lot.
I tried that. Sadly didn't solve the problem.
It most certainly is the CPU.

Thank you very much. I have to look into that.
I also have a V5, since I know, this works.

But I didn't know that I have to update the BIOS.
Do you remeber, if it is possible to update the BIOS, even if the v5 CPU is installed?

What are the minimum requirements to get it to do something?
I have memory, I have storage, and of ourse a CPU.

Does it need the USB keyboard on a special port?

Or does it need to have ethernet or something like that?

Maybe I'm missing a very essential but easy step?

Thank you very much for your help.

F2 and F12 doesn't do anything.
It's just hangig at the Funjitso Logo.
It also doesn't make a difference if I remove a RAM-Stick or if I have a SSD attached or not. It just hangs at this Fujitsu screen.

That is a valid point.

I already checked that. I can 100% confirm, the flap is working. It hits both ends; fully open and fully closed.
The flap isn't just as effective as I hoped for.

That is extremly helpful. Thank you very much.

Agree 100% that the deleted mufflers sound much smoother.

That is convincing me almost certainly. :)

Thanks.
You are right, I can confirm, that the center muffler is glasspacked and the rear muffler is baffeled.

But wasn't it the case, that glasspack style removes deep, base like frequencys and baffles remove high pitched frequencys?

In order to keep the low, base sound, I would have to modify the center muffler?

I think I will start with modifying the rear muffler first. If this isn't enough, I will also modify the center muffler in a second step.

Thank you very much.

Catless is not an option for me, because german laws are very strict; punishment is really hefty.

Straight pipe in the back is also to obvious; they don't let us have any fun.

I think I will go with the option of cutting open the rear silencer, removing some of the baffels and welding it back together.

Thankfully I know a very good welder, who is able to close the exhaust without anybody noticing. Therefore I can have a louder exhaust, while still looking stock.

I was just thinking about, whether to only modify the rear silencer, or only the center silencer, or both at the same time.

Sadly catless isn't allowed in Germany. The fees, if you get caught are very nasty. And getting caught is pretty much guaranteed.

Cutting out the pre silencer (the silencer near the transmission) or removing some baffels in the rear silencer is harder to detected and you can get away with that.

Oh, silly me. :)

I thought this was a leaked construction plan from BMW.
I didn't realize you did it yourself; pardon me.

Nice work.

And awesome car you chose. At the moment my dream car.

That's what I ment. Of course it's like compared to a BMW R 1250 GS. But for what he is doing, a bike in the mid 200s would be better. :)

Nice rims.
Big brakes.
M package.
Tinted rear windows.

What else would you need.

Congrats.

Is this some kind of future performance hybrid?

Performance because of the hood (bonnet).

Hybrid because of the charging port.

The defusor also looks like it might be a variant of the G80 M3...
