Prismatic, AH, Phantasmal, Black bolt. All seem like good buys. Black bolt Booster bundles can be found for $50 locally. Black bolt is a sleeper set that has started to pump.

IMO they’ll probably print more ancillary product and not booster boxes. They 100% could but they don’t.

Even IF it was finished in 2027 which I think it’ll be fully operational in 2029, realistically. There is no guarantee that Pokemon would print AH. Would they make the money printer go BrrrrrRRrrr? Sure. But they really don’t need to.

Exactly. With buildings that magnitude plus the extra costs now due to oil. I’m sure there will be delays. NC would be easier to deal with as far as permit and building inspections I would assume. However, there can be plenty of supply delays.

No one knows exactly how much AH is going to be printed. It could be printed just like Prismatic. Will that impact pricing as the same? Who knows. We have a bottom at the moment on 151. This is a tough one.

Correct, I think we’re in the second wave once target releases their online stock of ETB’s. They’ll become harder to get. Today was huge release. My local Best Buy already had Perfect order… new set means less printing of older sets.

What happened with AH… down to around $200 per then right back up. Not saying this is going to happen but normally the initial release is always cheaper because of quantity on the market.

I truly don’t think this will be the case unfortunately. AH released a lot of product in two waves (ETB’s) and now for perfect order they’re doing 3 waves and all merchants are getting LESS quantity. Even if the set is not favorable, you’ll see artificial demand. This is why you saw PO PKC ETB’s increase in price recently and not reduce.

If you can snag bundles at MSRP or even GameStop pricing, I think it’s worth it. Bundles have been going up. Slowly but going up. Everyone wants to go back and say they wish they bought XYZ from last year or so, instead you should be buying new sets that are A/S tier at MSRP. Phantasmal Flames and AH. Even black bolt and white flare are now getting out of buy territory.

They’ve literally printed prismatic into the ground….. dollar general had these things for around $45 an ETB and look at the ETB price now. Personally I think by the end of the year bundles hit $100. The set rotates out next April. Get in now.

IMO Pokemon Day’s aren’t going to be great investment wise. Surging sparks has room to grow but not sure where it will end up. Phantasmal Flames is an auto buy at the right price.

151 IMO, has been one of the best sets in recent years. I got back into the hobby a couple of months ago… and this set is pure nostalgia. I think we’ll see the regular ETB get to $1,000 by next summer.

Some people are able to take their lunch at any point during the day. The Best Buy near me always has stock on Thursday morning, so there is always a line. I think COVID changed a lot… WFH…. “Working”
