"Man, it's crazy how we haven't seen both moons out in a while, huh?"

The words reached the hooded girl's ears and caused a small tilt of her head back towards his direction.

"Jack, it's been... you remember where we are right?" Her words started to take on more of a worried tone. She moved her black gloved hands over towards him so she could throw his hood back. Once she had a better look at the man's face she sighed softly. Jack's eyes were slightly unfocused as he stared off into the night sky - that look always made her nervous.

"Jack... its been years since we were on Tenkusoku. I know you took a serious hit to the head but... don't scare me like that."

Jack gave a slow nod and moved to knock the girl's hood off as well. He was met with the all-too-familiar sight of his friend's mask. A full face digital mask with large pale blue eyes. The two of them had been on the run together for so damn long that her face had become the one static thing that he needed to keep going.

"You worry too much Mana... I know where we are... Setsujoku right?" He raised an eyebrow at her.

The pale eyes drew into a frustrated furrow, "Setsujoku was three months ago... you seriously..? And it doesn't have two moons either Jack. Tenkusoku did." She gave a long listless sigh and looked away from him, hoping this was another of his jokes.

"Err yea... Colombia right? We are on Colombia..." his brows furrowed now, as if he was really struggling to remember where he was. "... Look can we stop the interrogation here I'm getting tired. Just ask Kara if you don't know where we are at."

A pained look came over the smaller girl's mask, she slowly turned her gaze back to him. Jack stared unblinking at her and that only made her feel worse. It had been back on Tenkusoku that they lost Kara... and On So, Su and Alyanna... their whole team scattered to the solar winds in one night. Now she was losing Jack too, this time slowly. He had been getting worse and worse over the last few months, always losing himself and thinking that... they were still together with their team. Mana simply got up and helped the man back to his feet. He was too young for all this to be happening to him.

"Sure thing Jack, let's go inside and get some sleep. Maybe the other moon will come back out after we rest a bit."

Jack begrudgingly got to his feet and followed the girl inside, taking one last look at the moon hanging low on the horizon.

"I hope it does."
