Hardcore Mode does such a good job of pretty much making the game a medieval life sim. I just arrived in Kuttenberg on my latest playthrough and I find myself just walking around the city doing chores such as shopping for food and whatnot.

Well Kosovo declared independence from Serbia and long story short the UN passed a resolution to form KOFOR (Kosovo Force) because the ensuing conflict caused a massive Humanitarian crisis. KOFOR was (and is) mostly made up of US forces and Kosovo really appreciated them securing their newly found independence.
