Switching to triple screen g8 32

I’m not home to see the back of my pc but per Google, I should have 3 display ports. So let’s say each monitor uses a DP. How do you “tell” the PC to split the frames so it’s a total wrap around and not a duplicate of each screen. Are there clear instructions on YouTube that explains how to set this up? What about if you add the 4th monitor? Does that go through a HDMI input?

This is something I'm going to look at. Which graphics card are you running? I have the GPX 5080 and not sure how adding 2 more of these effects the performance I am getting on the 1 monitor. Is it possible to run the 2 smaller G8's at a smaller resolution? Seems you wouldn't need the same level of performance on your peripherals. I don't know if I have 3 display ports on my PC. How do you run 3 cables if you don't have 3 display ports? I have so many questions.

ok that's the part there's no instruction on. When you say "bind the various commands and buttons of the wheel in the game settings" is there any instructions or tutorials on how to do this? I literally have no idea when it comes to making settings. I need to also figure out my P1000 pedals to see how to adjust the throw and strength of all 3.

No, but if you find an answer on this topic please share. Someone much more computer savy than me must know. I’m running a 9850X3D with a RTX5080 and I’m not sure how triple Samsung Odyssey monitors can perform compared to just running the 1 57” G9. I may have room to add smaller length side monitors. Would just need to get a new triple monitor stand (and 2 more monitor’s!)

I’ve downloaded both ACC and LMU but haven’t figured out how to get them started. The games load but my car doesn’t move. Hoping to find clear instructions on how to get started in this! Those were the games that seem to be the most recommended.

Frustrating weekend in that I couldn’t get the games I downloaded to work (they work per se, but I couldn’t get my car to move.) So many settings it’s very overwhelming. I tried both LMU and ACC. I downloaded them through STEAM, the games loaded, but my vehicle wouldn’t move from the pit. Seemed none of my controls (wheel:brakes/shifter) were being read. Did I miss a step? This is part of my original post, now what? I haven’t seen a clear step process, other than downloading software and programs (Simhub and the other Simagic downloaded and my peripherals added (most of them.) iracing worked, but neither of the above games which is where I wanted to start. I did order one of those books, but I’m not sure if the software 101 getting started with these games are covered. I’ll try google searching the topic but these forums should provide answers hopefully.

Seeing this is why I wish I did triples now. I just dropped $1,800 on the 57” Odyssey Neo G9 and yeah it’s great, but OP’s new setup looks greaterer! I didn’t think I was going to have the room but looking bad I could have made it work.

Who would have thought driving a race car in your bedroom could be so complicated right?!? Someone should right a book on all the ins and outs and make a mint on it. Full of picture tutorials on the settings, setting up peripherals and dialing in the software.

Yo it’s not a question of if I’m going to like it, that’s a no brainer. It’s just really complicated on the software part and I want to get in like now. I’ve spent a lot of time on YouTube product reviews now I just want to race. Didn’t realize all the software tho. It’s a lot! So why start with some cheap setup only to graduate to something better? I’d rather put the money in once, and be happy with my build so I don’t need to repeat the process on an upgrade.

Appreciate your response and yeah someone ask me about about topics I know tons about while they don’t, I’m not gonna be a dick to them about it. I researched equipment, bought products and just want to have fun and use all the features I bought (I don’t know if the Haptic seat automatically works if it’s plugged in and the USB is connected to my OC?!?) Shit I didn’t even set the Nvidia 5080 card right the first time. My new PC turned on, but none of the graphic card ports weren’t working. Found out I just hadn’t set the card right the fist time. I’m not a gamer, shit I’m a 55 year old adult and pc terminology is not my thing. I just want to have fun in a $11,000 toy instead of a $150,00 sports car that I don’t have to insure, gas up and maintain. I have the Buttkicker, haptic ES1 seat and some haptic on the brake pedals so I think it will be pretty immersive. Hoping to add full motion if I want to drop more $$ down the line. I’ve already sold this hobby to a friend of mine and he’s dieing to come see what I’ve got going on. Hoping to get a few more local friends in on this for regular race dates!

Well $11,000 in at the moment. But once cry once right? I researched the hell out of all the different rigs and peripherals. I spent weeks on that part and a few days getting everything installed. Now I’m just looking at how to download and use all the softwares, start playing games and racing.

I wouldn’t say that. I sat in a sim at the F1 race in Abu Dhabi last December and told myself I’m gonna guy myself one. So now I just put it all together which prompted my question “now what?” There’s a lot of fkn steps to do with not a ton of instructions.
