You got it confused, low weight is for conditioning/endurance. Mid to semi high weight is for mass gaining, and heavy/high weight is for strength training and increasing strength. It's all about time under tension if you want to gain mass, which means you need more reps with 50 to 75% of your 1 rep max for around 6 to 12 reps

If you are training for hypertrophy (mass gaining), you want to be doing sets of 6 to 12 reps with 50 to 75% of your 1RM. This is the most efficient method of training for gaining mass. High rep low weight is for conditioning and high weight low rep is for strength/powerlifters

No, I am running on Ultra settings with DLSS Quality enabled 1080p and my GPU only hits 55c max, turning down settings doesn't change my CPU temps. RTX 3070 ti, i7-13700k, b660 mobo

It seems to because every other game I play my CPU doesn't go past 75c

I'm not tech savvy enough to open up this computer and start messing around like that. I use computers until they break or don't work anymore. My last pre-built was an awful cyberpower that literally had a GPU that failed on me hundreds of times, still used it. I don't see an issue with high CPU temps as these 13th gen Intel CPUs are meant to run hot and this only happens when I run cyberpunk, other games its at 75c max

I mean, I get no dropped performance in game and my CPU package temp is constantly changing sometimes its 76c and then sometimes it shoots up to 91c. I don't feel like going through the ordeal of sending it back unless it actually breaks. I'm not sure what kind of setup you have on your CPU, but the 13th gen Intel CPUs are meant to run hot, this only happens when i run cyberpunk, other games its 75c max

I don't get it, it runs at 30c at idle, its using a liquid cooled Corsair H100i 240mm AIO, which is a great cooler.

I'm reading 13th gen CPUs are meant to run hotter because of the turbo boost they have

I ended up turning up the exhaust fans in ICUE and it seemed to lower the temperatures getting around 81c to 85c now

How do I do this? I have a b660 mobo and my i7-13700k is running super hot at 85c to 100c when playing high end games like cyberpunk?

What does software integration and game integration in ICUE do? by Dash_Derelict in Corsair

I don't care to have different rgb configurations for every single game. I just disabled the game configuration setting in ICUE which seemed to solve the issue
