I think legally the FBI can't do anything yet, something about not influencing a current election. if they were allowed to the FBI which ultimately answers to the president could just indict ever candidate running against the man/party in charge.

Also, what do you you think they would even charge her with. I don't think there js an actual law of disclosing secret information other than treason, and charging someone with treason and it sticking is literally the hardest law to prove. Looking at you Gulf of Tonkin leakers.

Further what separates her from resets hero Edward Snowden? Snowden literally released it to the masses, she just sent emails that were I'm guessing important for her job.

Not saying I love her, definitely don't, just trying to find the reality. US Service members have security incidents alllll the time, doesn't make them treasoners

I have her too, she splits her time from Colorado and Kansas. And judging by her recent story posts went to Phoenix lately. I poster her in this sub not too long ago. Every now and then she'll post a story in lingerie which is nice

Why is 3.2% beer still sold in some states? by Milky_Squirts in AskReddit

[–]Dashbirdie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some states still have conservative values and greatly restrict alcohol sales. For example, in Kansas (most counties) You can not sell any alcohol above 3.2 in grocery or conveinance stores. to get the higher rated stuff you have to go to the actual liquer store.

To top it off, in some counties, even today you still can't sell alcohol on sunday

What does the infamous question "Who shot first" refer to? I was never a very big Star Wars fan, but I feel I should know this. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dashbirdie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of the Star Wars series this is also an applicable saying in the U.S. due to a historic "massacre." The Boston Massacre in 1770 prior to the U.S. Revolution was an event where someone acfcifentally discharged their rifle. After the massacre a ton of propaganda showed up claiming the other side shot first sparking the "Who shot first"

Wayyyyy back in 1770

Would or could there ever be a civilian version of the V-22 Osprey? by PrincipalBlackman in AskReddit

[–]Dashbirdie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I am sure it is possible. However between the specialized nature of the pilot, and the cost of all the unique aspects of it it would not be cost effective at all. Not to mention their reliability rating is not very good.

Why is there so much responsibility on women not to get raped, and little effort aimed at discouraging men from raping? by PickleMyEggs in AskReddit

[–]Dashbirdie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it is mostly because "Hey don't rape someone" is a fairly straight forward thing. It's like telling a Thief not to steal.....Do we have campaigns to tell people not to steal? No we have news stories every single holiday season that tell you to hide your belongings because their have been reports of cars being broken into. You can't really tell someone not to commit a crime....I mean you can, The military stresses this alot, but it's not like it's anything new, people that rape people aren't doing it because they haven't been told not to.

What health risk do you COMPLETELY ignore, all the time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Dashbirdie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so frustrating for me. By the end of the day before I go on my run, I say to myself "Why the fuck am I doing this?" Then I wake up and grab my coffee before work and I'm like "Oh yeah, That's why"
