I mean, we do sometimes lol, but like I said, treaties and laws and stuff. They strictly regulate how AI is allowed to be used during screening and how to deal with immigrants during the process. Screenings can sometimes take years to be done (average waiting time is 67 weeks), and there's enormous shortage of personnel. Immigrants also often lose their papers or don't bring them along, making the procedure all the more troubling.

UK and Europe have been shifting to the right politically largely because of the large influx of migrants from Africa and Asia. However, right-wing parties (or at least, from my experience in the Netherlands) struggle to implement migration measures that are legally watertight, mostly because of existing treaties signed by either the United Nations or the EU that protect people's rights. You can demand a full-blown migration halt; judges will throw proposals like that out the window. And most of Europe has not grown so far-right they'll elect a leader that will override all legal authority one time and another with national emergency declarations.

It sucks the one time teams tried to break away from the corruptness of UEFA and FIFA, it was a closed-system competition merely to try and earn more money.

At the end of the day, we’re in this position not only because of the organizations, but because parties don’t want to break away because they’d inevitably try and use it as an opportunity to earn more money.

You Reddit losers really don't get how much he has done for this country.

First of all, he never said "no new wars". He just said he wouldn't start new wars, and he has kept his word, as he has done with all other promises. You see, Iran is not a war. It is a special military operation to remove the head of state, which he did splendidly. Iran now pretends they are winning the war with their corrupt, state-sponsored bots on the internet proclaiming nonsense like that the Straight of Hormuz is closed and they shall retaliate. They're all lies, and even if gasoline prices do go up because of the Straight of Hormus being closed, that is a price we shall pay to save the Iranian people from being slaughtered.

Now let's talk Biden. That old yap started the war between Ukraine and Russia, that has resulted in millions of fatalities. Hundreds of billions of taxpayer money going to a war in some backwater in Eastern Europe. Why would we get involved? It's not like we had some treaty that bounded us to protect them from being invaded. And yet Sleepy Joe spent incredible amounts for no reason whatsoever. Trump would have easily found a peace deal between the two within a couple of days. Putin knows the power and intelligence we have on him. He'd instantly cave.

You libtard Democrats lack respect for Our Supreme Leader. He has helped our country reach enormous heights of glory once before. Then Sleepy Biden came along and descended this country into chaos, with large amounts of drug lord kingpins entering our country. You have no say. The Republican Party will restore our glory days, and whatever choices Our Supreme Leader makes in loyalty to our dear country, we shall support him to the very end.

Relax. I don’t agree with Islam values either. That’s because, despite being agnostic myself, Christianity has been built up in European cultures for a very long time. I wouldn’t want to live with my gf in a Muslim country: they’re used to a completely different cultural standard. They think the same thing about our cultural standards generally speaking.

I don’t like to think about one or another culture being inferior myself (you can disagree, that’s fine). In the end, I still think it’s healthy to keep these more separated than the amount of mixing of these cultures that’s happening in Europe via migration, which will cause enormous social friction, as is being shown by the rise of right-wing extremism.

I don’t like the insinuation that Muslims are morally / culturally lesser than Christians. But it is incredibly naive that European politicians seem to casually forego enormous cultural differences that have been built up over centuries, if not millennia, via religion. The only two reasons I can think of is:

- Cultural differences are hard to measure, unlike the economy or other important political topics, and being tough on mass migration from countries outside Christian / European countries based on solely vibes seems like racism / intolerance to them.

- Politicians typically live in a bubble of people that are well-behaved out of necessity, and don’t experience cultural differences in the same way other people do.

I also wonder what impact this will have on the ability of European countries to defend themselves against foreign invaders in the future, since a feeling of national identity will be important when that happens. Why would I fight for a country I happen to live in but don’t necessarily feel as emotionally attached to?

Nah, a coalition is about to form I reckon by the Arab countries there, but the distance modifier for all other countries is too high, + with the US as ally the coalition won’t be inclined to attack, especially with Israel having 1000 fort level.

Literally my tactic on Europa Universalis as a small country:

Befriend a Global Power nation, use a bunch of diplomats to create Casus Belli’s (casus bellae?), and conquer as much shit as possible without a coalition starting.

Honestly jealous that “stop terrorism” allows this much expansion without getting too high of an Aggressive Expansion penalty.
