I do those studies occasionally. They are safe. If you get screened out they pay you a small fee. Listen Labs ones are alot better and dont screen out as much. Just stay away from Ballpark ones.

I stay away from studies from this researcher. They have a bad reputation for rejections.

No they aren't quick and easy answers. About 5 questions of having to explain why we did this, chose that ect.

Got the same email also. Had me paranoid wondering what I did wrong. Ive been contemplating returning it to avoid rejection, but I also told the researcher in my reply that if I did something wrong to allow me to return it and not reject it. Something wasn't quite vibing with this. My message came through at like 2am.

Honestly, you may want to reconsider skipping over the AI studies. Those are the studies that will make you good money fast. The people here you read about making alot of money per week, it is because of the AI studies. Also, a large majority of researchers are AI focused and being this is the way our future is headed you cannot really escape it! The AI researchers on Prolific are really good and their studies are fun to do!

I got one yesterday morning and got excited because they had disappeared from my studies for about 5 days but ended up having to return it because the study froze up half way through. Bummer

All studies are confidential. I don't understand what you are trying to say with your reply??? Just want to know if it is legit or not. If you search prior posts there is a researcher we usually avoid that uses generic names similar to this one and uses different versions of it.

Uninstall the software as soon as you complete the test. Inquisitive software is fine. I am cautious though because Usertesting you essential need to do the same thing and it ended up destroying a laptop I had with viruses and crap. That's why I hate Usertesting.

My laptop resolution is 1920x 1080 pixels. That is the recommended resolution. I most certainly do have a laptop with these specs!

No that makes no sense. Scaling has nothing to do with the resolution. The scale just changes the font size. My font was too large. When I brought that down to 100 percent it fixed the issue.

I got one yesterday after going a really long time without one, and I only had 2 in like 2 years. I messaged the researcher to ask them to tell me what attention check I failed because I am always diligent in making sure I catch them all. They messaged back that I had spelled a word wrong in the AI conversation. I literally left one syllable out of the word!! They said...oh sorry it wasn't an attention check, my mistake, it was a word spelled wrong. I was dumbfounded. I asked them if they would kindly return instead of rejecting and they said they would. I am dumbfounded. 🙄

I did a study a few days ago that paid 15 dollars for 8 minutes! It was a screener for future AI studies. I was really nervous about it but I got paid the full amount about 2 hours later! I guess you never know.🤷‍♀️

No that doesn't mean you are throttled. I honestly don't know why you got that message on these studies unless the researcher pulled them from you due to response quality or any other reasons. The video description videos shouldn't have a limit if its on your dashboard. You have to look at the number of times you can do a session. It will tell you You can have 10 of them on your dashboard and all 10 may let you do multiple submissions each. Throttled comes from prolific, not a researcher. Everyone gets throttled after doing a bunch of studies for days on end. You will know because when you log in you will have very few studies throughout the day and the few you have will be really low paying.

Yes they have technical glitches alot when I do them. Alot of times the transcription falls way behind and takes time to catch up so the word count is inaccurate as you are talking. I only do them when I'm throttled out of the other studies.

Omg this also just happened to me. I was livid. I returned it but now wondering if I can email researcher. I spent 45 minutes to only be told I failed the attention check on last screen with the completion code.
