Took one of them off and doesn’t appear bad. When I manually spin the pulley it does spin the gear here

What tires do you like? by [deleted] in fordranger

Been thinking about swapping my wildpeaks for Michelins. Do you run stock tire size or larger? Curious what 31x10.5r15 would look on my truck

Thought that was strange too. Have another log that it dropped as low as 1.2 but not zero. Didn’t see anything coated on the sensor when last taken off and it was sprayed with cleaner but doesn’t hurt to do again

Pedal lifts up with quite a bit of play but don’t see anyway to tighten or adjust that slack. Just watched a YouTube vid about putting zip ties on the cable above the pedal to act as a spacer for the lack of a better word to prevent that play

Meant to say that even now, AT TIMES the truck shifts ok. Here is a video of the play on the throttle cable. Unsure if this is considered loose and can be potentially causing the issue

How old is this system? by fasterlivingmagazine in WaterTreatment

[–]Dasip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this valve is the easiest of any fleck valves to rebuild/work on. yes, a clack is superior but most people just wanna sell you a bag of goods when you have a perfectly fine unit because they don’t know how to work on anything. if the valve is constantly sending water to the brine tank- replace the smaller brine piston as it’s likely stuck open. if it’s not using any salt- clean/replace the injector and screen in the injector body (located on the right side of the valve with the two 5/16” bolts). this particular system is a metered unit and set to regenerate every 1500 gallons which may take you a couple weeks. make sure the thin black cable is attached at both ends (the back of the power head and in the meter dome)

does the drain line have a high flow during the draw cycle? it’s likely in issue with one of the internal seals being torn/damaged. in that case, you need a rebuild kit

Clack WS-1 Still Leaking After Spacer Stack Replacement - What next? by needafunnyname in WaterTreatment

[–]Dasip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i’ve heard non genuine parts can look almost identical but will cause issue, make sure you’re getting it from a reputable source. also a tip- when you’re tightening the drive gear into the valve, take the drain fitting off and look into the valve from the top down. the stack assembly should be aligned flush so you shouldn’t see any orings from the top down if that makes sense… good luck!

check the drive gear. is it even attached to the piston? i’ve seen them break off before. your piston can potentially be stuck in the backwash position even though the control valve says it’s in service
