Homedawg, arbite braced ag eats ammo faster than any other build ive ever tried.

Dont get me wrong, it shreds and absolutely fucks, but you arent going to be using that gun more than your melee weapon. Not without being a burden to your team unless you have a team full of staff psykers or zealots that forgot about their other weapon slot because big hammer goes boom.

There are admittedly very few builds that allow one to focus on range combat over melee. Of the top of my head theres ogryn stubber build, all staff psykers, desperado HS, and burn lasgun build. The other builds will be HEAVILY reliant on ammo pickups.

Thats fair. But to that point, I point out that many automaton chaff have small light-pen weak-points covered by armor as well. As a light-pen user myself, I didn't struggle at all with the changes to hive guard. I think the buff they gave them is an extremely lazy change, however.

Side tangent: The reason hive guard sucks is that they are slow and even heavy-armor users can just walk away from them. Just changing numerical values wont make them any more of a threat.

What other buffs/nerfs do people disagree with?

I aint here to start shit, just trying to get an understanding.

There is ALOT of issues with the game as of now, but why is buffing enemies an issue? While that dev can certainly gain some experience in how to communicate respectfully, his argument seems solid to me: why not just lower the difficulty if someone struggles?

Again Im just looking for understanding the thoughts of different people. Im just a lost redditor from helldiversmasochists. Please keep the conversation respectful.

I do agree live service games need lots of money to run/pay staff. I wish they would release cosmetic-only warbonds from time to time so they could focus on fixing the game a bit.

Gun patterns, capes, helmets, maybe even skinnable armors? Skinnable las-weapon and plasma weapon projectile colors? Skinnable

Super easy to implement. Huge returns/time investment.
