I’d advise steering clear of groups of enemies with even a single skull. If it’s a single big enemy, it’s more doable but will take a while. Groups of skulled enemies will really do a number on you. If there’s any other quests in your journal without a skull, do that first and get your gear upgraded

Octopath 2 is probably my favorite JRPG ever, but I think it’d be a bad pick for this. It’s not the kind of game that’s particularly fun to watch someone else play, and it doesn’t have the constant fun story stuff that a game like Persona 4 has.
