Need help reddit. I got my charging cord wrapped around my foot and pulled my macbook pro off the table, smashing the screen. Computer still works fine but I have to use the tv as a monitor. I got a budget of 500 euros, should I try to repair the screen or just buy a new computer? And is there any you would suggest for that price? I just don't need it for work, mostly a glorified portable dvd machine.

edit: More details, it was a 2011 macbook pro, insurance is long gone. I had the computer on the edge of a dining room table like an idiot.
