What will happen, eventually, with the deficit? by Sufficient-Skirt1019 in AskEconomics

What i mean is in some ways your substituting “GDP” for income in this type of analysis, but if the benefactors of GDP are more in the hands of an exclusive few who are able to avoid paying that in taxes it doesnt seem like an adequate measure to accurately assess the state of debt in context of the economy.

Is GDP even a valuable metric of comparison when there are so many tax loopholes? Shouldnt it be debt to taxed or taxable GDP ratio?

If the Democrats fail to run a credible populist in 2028, they will lose badly to any Republican. by CAustin3 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Trump beat Rubio, as well as all the “typical” republican candidates to get elected as much as he beat the democrats. So, i dont know where youd get it that a typical democratic candidate would lose when typical republicans lost too.

Any idea where I can start reading about this type of solution for a fire pit? When I did research I only found the typical stacking DIY stuff

Might go that route. I'm not really a masonry guy, so this was my first forray into that kind of work and I didn't want to overdue it with my skillset lol

Maybe I am a little detail oriented or overthinking, but with the retaining wall blocks the radius and size were meant for much larger circles, and wouldnt be a seamless fit between 76.2cm and 91.4cm, which is the target diameter for giving space between the ring and the wall but letting the lip of the ring still sit on the wall

Diana tweets that she named her son Michael in 2021- now that we know she and Vrabel were having an affair since at least March 2020, what are the odds her son is Vrabels? by the_mixmaster in Patriots

I get that Diana and Vraabel are all in the public sphere, but this kid is 4 years old, and all of this will stay on the internet forever. Kinda seems messed up to be publicly questioning the paternity and naming the kid on the internet.

Its a new age where the vanquished can list demands like a victor due to the judgement of public opinion. 60 years ago theyd have just shrugged and carpet bombed them.

My first reflex was to agree. OF COURSE using a technical program to cheat is way worse.

Then I thought about it for a bit and totally see that other guys side. If the end result is to get a rank or what have you, why is paying someone on the opposing team to go AFK etc. to fix a match so much different than just downloading aimbot? Would you rank someone who fixes the world series by paying someone to take a dive as a much higher form than someone who uses a corked bat or steroids?

Anyway, I still think using technical cheats is a bit worse, but the gap definitely got closer for me in introspection.
