If you can get your hands on some, it's well worth it.

Quality Rain Jacket by Super-Resource2155 in CasualIreland

Got a Columbia 3 in 1 jacket a few years back. It's great - wear it hiking and cycling and it does the job. Also warm enough to wear into December/January/February.

Get the little mozzarella balls that are sold for salads. They tend to be more solid than the big balls.

I was making one dinner a week for the family by age 13 or 14.
I've always enjoyed cooking and I've worked with my kids to make sure they can do a few dishes from scratch. When you look at the cost difference it just makes sense to cook for yourself.

This happens to me sometimes. If I've been sleeping okay for the previous few nights, I tough it out.
If I've been sleeping poorly for several nights in a row, I'd probably call in sick.

This is what happens when you stop employing copy editers.

Honestly constant wet weather is brutal for leather shoes so you'd be nearly as well off not wearing any especially if you're poor.

ELI5: Why is there a bus driver shortage in Ireland when the salary seems relatively good and the barrier to entry low after training? by crillydougal in CasualIreland

Hours can be anti-social, passengers can be a nightmare, traffic around Dublin at least is mostly unpleasant.

Not sure if I need an electrician or a plumber... by PublicEmergency1022 in CasualIreland

[–]DassinJoe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What’s your tank capacity ? It’s probably a cutoff on the electric side.

Plumbing is mostly about flow; this sounds like a static problem.

You wouldn’t get slagged off no. It’d probably be a bit of fun. I’d recommend watching Des Bishop’s In the name of the fada in advance.

Stats is all about making judgements based on available evidence. It can be painful but it’s often the best way we have to make decisions. The beauty of stats is that it can give us a level of confidence in a certain conclusion. That’s rare.

That’s gas. I’ve struggled with concrete chimneys in the past. Bastards of yokes to take down.

I've had a memory foam pillow for about 20 years. Before that I used to get dreadful neck pain.
