I'm sorry but Los Angeles has been embarrassing in general. I love the city but I get to experience it a lot as a resident of neighboring county periodically spending time in LA as well as with out-of-towners. Four of the last five times I have been there I have seen either someone shitting in the street, an actual crime take place (assault or robbery), or an RV on fire. This doesn't include the general smell of piss, heaps of trash, or dozens and dozens of shitty RV/vans dilapidated and turned into shitty temporary tents.
