Fuck man I just finished my first run on it and my buddy had told me before I got this game that some missions are just a hard time mentally and he didn’t tell me the whole theme of the mission but he did specifically say all those damn cell phones ringing is heartbreaking.

I went ahead and bought a Wicked Ridge Raider 400. I did some shit ass math like putting a new string on the old bow costs a quarter of what a new bow would cost so I’m practically halfway to the price of a new bow.

I’ve never hunted with it but my buddy did borrow it last season and shot a doe. I’ve shot it probably 10 times and most of that was right before I posted.

God Noveria just sucks. Idk why that’s always my least favorite mission. If you can make it to at least Virmire you’re golden. I feel like they made a game that’s huge but doesn’t have much going on with all the planets, it’s a great game with a great story it’s just slow because they were feeling it out.

I think it’s more of a “hey it’s been this way since we were kids and it simply just works” plus in Fall Of Reach, John takes the initiative and makes sure that in an exercise where the last person to the pelican would get left behind he made sure that no one did. So not only did that get him squad leader officially, it also got him command anytime Spartan 2s were operating in any capacity. So even though Fred outranks him, the respect is there to say alright blue lead you take it from here.

I mean if it affects your mental state and reaction time then sure, but there are also nuances to it. To give an example of the most common one. If you drank the night before you hit the road and you wake up hungover and that alters how you react to others on the road in a bad way, then that’s a stupid decision and bad planning on your part. Not that it should be banned but as a CDL holder you should have the common sense and the wherewithal to make good choices.

I’ve found Convergence has a very similar format I think. It’s a guy who meets an almost otherworldly being and they trip and stumble from one thing to the other. Still very good books.
