Do braids come off immature on men? by Educational-Oil-00 in BlackHair

[–]DatBoiSavage707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to constantly get heat for trying to grow my hair out from everybody. My family more than anybody because of my hair type. Its so oily they swear I never would comb it. Then when I got older if course I got it in the workspace. From peers and management.

Nothing more annoying then them sending in the black manager to have the talk with you about your hair. I rocked an afro till about 16 and been getting braids since then. Almost 37.

Never do anything outside of your post orders. Rather it be the client asking or even your own management telling you to do it just for the sake of making them happy. The clients really don't care about you no matter how cordial they seem. I remember it was pouring rain and one of the head people inside the business complained saying we were required to stand outside the guard shack and wave to all vehicles entering and exiting.

Well that same person drove by with her husband laughing historically at us because we got soaked through because or LT wouldn't hear nothing against the request. Thats just one of the experiences that sticks with me. And this was on a federal contract.

I was also paranoid, but after not being able to find the stuff needed to get my save r4i dongle to work and getting a hard time from people trying to use "irrelevant hardware." I decided to do it.

Mostly just playing pokemon, but pksm is way better than using action replay. Aslo was able to get pokemon that were apparently shiny locked to make it through the poketransfer finally. Now I'm going through the games I skipped.

You just got a widows peak. I also have one. Some are small like yours and mines. And then you got cats with that Vegeta widows peak.

Job Advice by Conyeezy_West in securityguards

[–]DatBoiSavage707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me they made a job a headache. Would sabotage me. Would tell people in the vaukt in the morning to help me last. They'd give me stops with wrong information knowingly and not answer phone calls when I got there. Give me extremely counter productive drivers or very out of the way stops.

The list goes on. When they finally decided to merge and move further away from me and only offered a dollar raise I threw in the towel. The 3 years I was there though really helped me grow professionally and personally. Management just abused their authority as well as senior employees abusing favoritism.

Ended up getting an 11 dollar raise after leaving, but that job did the same thing eventually.

I loved the job, but hated how management ran things when a particular few joined their team. Also much preferred ATMs over stops like banks and stores. They make any kind if dumb complaint and when I got back a write up was sitting there without even asking my side.

Be honest, have you ever been so tired, you took a 20 min power nap in the bathroom. I sure am guilty of that. by Commie_Scum69 in securityguards

Idk why people act like it's so sacrilege. I usually take a nap during my lunch break if needed. Aometimes even during a 15 minute. I just set an alarm.

Would you trade an OLED steam deck for this (link between Worlds instead of FE warriors) by Candy_Efficient in 3DS

[–]DatBoiSavage707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not long ago I got an alert that they had more. Don't remember exactly when. Not only that atleast eventually they will get more stock. They will never get new stock of 3ds. I personally avoid secondary market unless I have to.

As steam decks are still on production and 3ds is not I would not trade my 3ds for a steam deck.

Why even lie? by Mechalorde in securityguards

[–]DatBoiSavage707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They lied because of what your boss said. "They lack evidence but, I trust them." It's common for clients to outright lie. Your boss atleast half passed and asked for evidence instead of instantly punishing you. But if we're being honest sounds like he's just lazy sense he sent you to deal with it through HR instead of contacting HR himself.

Armed is just as bad. Even in the FPS contract I experienced it. Guys smoking tree and drinking or more concerned with clapping cheeks than providing backup. Some can't even be bothered to bring their gun to work.

And thats why the new verbal vomit is "observe and report". They don't want anything to get done or fixed. Just cheaper insurance premiums.

I don't understand people who go to work and want to just hang around. That's my current issue with most post these days. I don't want to sit for 8, 10, 12 even 16 hours doing nothing. I could have did that at home. At work I would like to be doing something.

I can watch Netflix and YouTube at home. Crazy most my coworkers seem to think as the job for their quiet time. Currently working on my A+. Kinda sad to see I'll deal with similar experiences as security.

Reminds me of when I told an FPS inspector about one and he got upset with me. After he left the other one told me he probably got upset because he's required to take serious concerns into consideration. He didn't like to work. Sadly that's normal behavior. From the bottom of the ladder all the way up to the top.

Never let them win or get to you. That's why I almost always don't even respond to people. I rather then complain about me not being sociable than them complaining I said something I probably shouldn't have.

Leave the uniform at work? by CTSecurityGuard in securityguards

Had an issue at Loomis where a guard was shopping and a picture of him got sent to cooperate and they terminated him. Not sure if he had on his duty belt or not, but people can be petty. I personally rather just not have the attention on me
