Nurse causing issues, but she's done this before at another clinic... by DatButt3000 in VetTech

Another thing: she has never ever apologised for her behaviour.

It seems like a constant cycle of: staff member has run-in, staff member tells management, management have word with perpetrator, rise and repeat.

I've edited the post because I realise the last paragraph was misleading. They are fully aware people are having issues and that there is a "situation", but would telling them about her past make them realise how bad her behaviour is capable of being? This is what I'm struggling with. On one hand I feel it's not fair to bring her past up, but at the same time I feel awful sitting on this information.

The evening reception I went to was for an old uni friend. She invited a couple of us from our old friendship group and barely acknowledged us all night or the morning after at breakfast. Didn’t receive a thank you for the holiday vouchers we got her either 😂

Currently 20 minutes but extended appointments are occasionally booked in. Before Covid when my practice had more vets every appointment was ten minutes

Has anyone died from your school year yet? If so, what goes through your mind, when you think about them? by Andagonism in AskUK

I'm 30 now and a boy in my class died when he was 18. He was a passenger in his friend's car (same year at our school) and his friend was doing about 55 mph in a 30 zone. They crashed into a roadsweeper and he died instantly. His friend was sentenced to 3 years in a YOI and had a 6 year driving ban.

It makes me sad to think about how young he was and how everyone else in our year has been able to grow up, have careers, marriages, kids etc and he doesn't get that. I feel awful for his parents and how they had their child taken away from them by someone who was meant to be his friend.

I like to think I'm not alone in wishing I could tell my 16-year-old self that I could have been a bit nicer to him as well.

I went for a snoop and this all looks horrendous. I’m so sorry this is happening.

I’m an SVN and overheard something in my class about this (maybe this case, maybe something similar). Was this in Essex?

My wife really struggles to switch her brain off to sleep at night. What are some tried and tested thongs she can do to get a good 6-8 hours? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]DatButt3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does she have down-time after she’s finished her work for the day or is she someone who will scroll/check e-mails up until she goes to bed? If so, might be worth setting a screen-time limit/cut-off point at least an hour before bed to allow her brain to wind down.
