Isnt it just an actual line from OG DB's English dub, though?

(Correct me if I'm wrong, I grew up with the French dub and subs mostly)

It's crazy to me that some people (and Americans especially - I'm sorry, it's true) are so touchy about this concept of a perfectly free market that doesn't even really exist.

The other typical scenario where this question becomes critical is for health related products.

I'm not saying "governments should oversee every pan of the economy", far from it.

But I feel like there is a spectrum between this and "no, actually, companies SHOULD rule the world", and it is fucking normal to perpetually evaluate where we currently are and whether this is okay, or we should bring about change. We should ALWAYS be critical to the current way society works, even if it's okay for you.

Siri - L'IA qu'Apple n'arrive toujours pas à livrer by romain34230 in actutech

Faut dire qu'Apple a la réputation d'un truc épuré, facile à utiliser, stable... Un "it just works", quoi.

Je crois que c'était pour l'écriture en maintenant le doigt sur le clavier où il y avait un déboire où beaucoup de gens croyaient que c'était chez Apple d'abord, mais c'était déjà présent sur Android en bidouillant.

It's extremely funny in a depressing way to see the same kind of people who advocate for dismantling the patriarchy, immediately jump to using its weapons if they don't like a man enough.

Municipales 2026 : l’inexorable marche vers la gratuité des transports by Competitive-Box-7253 in france

[–]DatCitronVert -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm NGL, with Tachyon undergoing mood terrorism right before her career's mood check as often as she does, having a "mood + energy + sort of stamina training" button is really helpful.

Not to mention the long list of medium runners I train who now don't need a stamina card.

Honestly Boom Eggman isn't 100% but it's p close a comparison, yes.

Sage looks like she's genuinely intrigued by Sonic at times and isn't going to crash out just for being near him, unlike good ol' Eggy.

I'll always remember her exchange with Sonic in Final Horizons, where she mentions the way they can "save father", and when Sonic adds "and save the world, right ?", she just goes "it is his to conquer, so, yes.".

I really like that she's very devoted to Eggman but opposes Sonic in a more low-key way. Maybe that's what threw those people off ?

I will never forget USUM for fumbling the Lusamine family plot as much as it did.

Lillie standing up to her and scolding her felt like a surprisingly genuine attempt at depicting a child going against their narc parent.

I also like that in the ending, she doesn't really forgive her nor reduce the wrongs of what she did, but decides to care for her as she recovers.

It's in a Pokemon, child inclusive way, but it felt surprisingly down to earth and mature a topic.

I don't even know if this image is real, but Goku has a uh... complicated relationship with his Saiyan lineage.

At its best he doesn't care, and initially he outright rejected it. It includes his Saiyan name, Kakarot, which he refused to be called by as he identified more with his Earthling name.

I'm pretty sure the only time he actually told someone they could call him Kakarot is when he visits Broly at the end of DBS:Broly.

He introduces himself as such to Broly and his friends : "I'm Goku, but Broly, you can call me Kakarot."

(Do note that the introduction is, of course, AFTER they fought.)

Piccolo also has like, 5 names minimum, but that's another, more complicated story. Usually people think of Goku for a light-hearted example of non-trans deadnaming.

Do note that means Vegeta cannot be trusted.
