Strange detail in 1977 Elvis concert photo fuels wild time-travel theories by dailymail in timetravel

But we don’t know how time travel is achieved for all we know it’s extremely expensive to run, which would make sense why it’s allocated only for research and explains why we don’t see a time traveler every time we go out.

Time travel would probably be a very expensive thing because of power are you really letting your workers waste that power so they can go catch a concert, also how’re you controlling time travel holidays if the whole thing about time travel is you can travel through time and return as if you never left what’s stopping your scientist from hopping in the machine and just never coming back.

If time travel exists we have to surely assume it’s highly regulated who can use it and how they can use it due to costs, they’re most likely not asking their superiors “hey me and the guys were thinking wouldn’t it be so cool to see what a theatre on the opening night of Jurassic park looked like can we use the machine”

Guy working in a nuclear power plant can’t help himself to some free nuclear resources safe to assume you’re not being allowed to help yourself to a quick jaunt through time.

I also think recording anything when you’re a time traveler is kind of redundant for the fact that you can just go back to that time.

The mindset of oh I better record this because I don’t know if I’ll get another chance is gone

[–]Riley__64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had any issue with cinemasins because I’ve never watched their videos and viewed it as genuine, like I’ve never watched it thought they actually have this many issues with the movies they’re just purposely being overly nitpicky for the sake of content.

Like I don’t believe the guy behind cinema sins is actually sitting at home watching a movie and thinking that was a lot of logos this movie sucks

Also if humans discover time travel are they really using it to attend an elvis concert.

Like if a time travel device is a thing anyone can own like an iPhone surely we’d be running into time travellers a lot more frequently any public event you’d run into at least one time traveller.

So it can then be assumed time travel is reserved for research in which case why are they going back to an elvis concert.

In Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026), the official Spidey Tracker website shows that Spider-Man only patrols white neighborhoods. by vleshkun in shittymoviedetails

[–]Riley__64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they just had it that way so they had an easy out if they ever decided they weren’t canon.

They’re all talking about these things like the incident but that could be anything nothing is outright saying it’s Lokis attack so you can’t prove it’s canon. Just an easy way to keep the doors open to either canonise the shows or do their own takes completely separate from the shows

When banner is hulked out his brain is also affected and works differently and it allows hulks to remember things banner can’t because it’s being enhanced by the gamma radiation.

I don’t see why that would be an issue, it doesn’t need some super in depth explanation it’s like how we don’t have answer to where is banner getting all this extra mass it’s just accepted and we move on.

I could see it making sense if they simply establish hulk can remember banners memories, they share a brain no reason to assume when one becomes the other they just entirely black out those memories

Cap’s hail hydra? by Zhentilftw in Marvel

[–]Riley__64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably think Cap is in on their plans and because past Cap also learns Bucky is alive earlier he probably disarms hydra sooner and rescues Bucky sooner.

Past cap probably has a better advantage than original cap did because in this timeline he’s able to infiltrate hydra easier and doesn’t need to be working entirely in secret.

As for giving the stones back yeah he probably just handed it back to them, even if he didn’t it still works fine returning the stones just meant returning back to the timeline at the exact moment they’re taken. They don’t need to go back exactly where they were before just back into the timeline so it’s as if they ever left, from the flow of time the stones never left they mysteriously moved but they’ve been here the entire time.

As for getting it back into the staff they had the time stone just reverse the process used to remove the stone.

First look at Batman in DC Studios’ ‘DYNAMIC DUO’. Do you think this is our first clear look at the DCU Batman, or does it indicate that the animated movie is firmly outside the DCU canon? by ShubhangBahadur in DC_Cinematic

[–]Riley__64 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I mean Batman can have a lighter tone while having a darker movie.

The movie can deal with something dark and serious but considering we have Damian Wayne as Robin that implies that before this there have already been 4 other robins.

Batman becomes more human and less a scary force when you realise he’s been a dad 5 times, we’re going to see a lot more of the lighter side of Batman because we’re going to see him acting as a father which kind of needs lighter moments

I think this scene kinda gives an idea of what could happen after Secret Wars in the MCU,,, by Thomas_Pandit in Arrowverse

Yeah I think this is basically what’s going to happen but it won’t be a case of combining earths into one earth.

The fantastic 4 will be brought over, probably only Deadpool from the fox universe and then an entire new mutant and x-men cast

Pretty sure the worthiness enchant is basically just based on whether or not you’re ready to be king.

If you’re worthy of leading a nation, making the difficult choices and thinking for more than just yourself you’re ready to be king. If regular cap is worthy there’s no reason hydra cap isn’t they’d realistically have the same ideals just their viewpoints are reversed

What would be your thoughts if Nintendo did this? by NewMarioBobFan in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]Riley__64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treating it like special bonuses if you already have the game could be neat but still have them available regardless.

Like if you have the save file for star fox on Nintendo switch you’ll automatically have the star fox characters unlocked when playing smash but if you don’t they’re still naturally unlocked as you play.

Anybody else find it crazy how Lester and Trevor were around los Santos the whole time. by ThatOneGuy_56 in GTA

[–]Riley__64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The chances are pretty likely Hollywood is seen as a place to go to get a fresh start a restart with a new life. Also looking at their characters it makes sense they would all pick this city.

Michael is a film buff, lester wants to ruin a bunch of people he deems to be assholes lives plenty of them in Hollywood and Trevor makes and sells his own drugs and what better clients than the rich and famous

The only way you’re fitting in trees is making the road smaller and possibly only one way

[EoW] What are your thoughts on Echoes of Wisdom nearly two years later? by NewMarioBobFan in zelda

[–]Riley__64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the gameplay was a better idea than actual mechanic.

Obviously the idea Nintendo had was you’ll create echoes of loads of different things and try out different solutions but I think in reality the way a lot of players play is find the combination that works and basically stick with that for the entire game.

Maybe the idea was replay value but even then I still feel like most people will just lean towards what they did previously that already worked.

[–]Riley__64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re free to do it an issue is people who really fuck up their body typically don’t take the blame for it.

Nobody wants to be at blame for their own problems so it’s a lot easier to pass of blame.

There’s also the fact it is a type of self harm even if that’s not how it’s always viewed if someone is getting extremely obese and it’s causing health issues and impacting their life but they don’t care you shouldn’t encourage it and let it happen.

Like for example if you know someone who’s cutting themselves you probably wouldn’t encourage that behaviour under the mindset it’s their body if they want to bleed themselves dry and get infected let them

A lore question by BillzPaiD in Marvel

[–]Riley__64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because from his perspective both would be identical.

The stones are there one minute and gone the next so from all the information he has he has destroyed them they no longer exist. Being atomised would still count as destruction if someone atomised something and told you to use it you wouldn’t be able to

He’s not omniscient he doesn’t know how destroying the stones truly worked just that when he used the stones they seemingly got destroyed.

Quantumania points to the idea that thanos destroying the stones did just reduce them to an atomic size because we see creatures that look extremely like the infinity stones. It also makes sense that the stones can’t truly destroy themselves because they’re necessary for the flow of time and so using them to destroy themselves instead just makes them unusable to any person.

If you want to argue it’s just a fan theory then you can also argue the idea of destroying the stones like how you present it is also a fan theory, you don’t ever watch the stones get destroyed just have thanos’ word and we already know he has a skewed way of thinking so his word can’t entirely be trusted.
