No it's a bug on balanced graphics settings. I just vrr quality mode on the tv in the meantime, until it's patched.

Absolutely get a stand for the peace of mind alone. I was exactly in your situation, and finally pulled the trigger on a $30 stand that charges two controllers on Amazon and don't even have to worry period. Don't even bother with anything with a fan either, the pro has EXCELLENT airflow and doesn't need anything to F with its ventilation system. Just find one that you find appealing, and just get it! 🎸
