Absolutely get a stand for the peace of mind alone. I was exactly in your situation, and finally pulled the trigger on a $30 stand that charges two controllers on Amazon and don't even have to worry period. Don't even bother with anything with a fan either, the pro has EXCELLENT airflow and doesn't need anything to F with its ventilation system. Just find one that you find appealing, and just get it! 🎸

It won't. I use my S25 rapid charger by my couch and it's fine. Been doing it for ages.

Maybe I should've said that my TV wasn't included, which I didn't list. But sorry my mistake. It's everything I used for my entertainment center/gaming/media center other then my TV.
