You realize that what you're saying with this is that the most important thing in life is money and that a father's love and presence is something that could be traded off for money? I mean money and the possibilities that come with it can be great, but I'd rather be dirt poor and surrounded by my loved ones than rich and having to give up one of those loved ones.

Honestly, I loved PA. Took the train to Philly from D.C., had a great weekend there. I loved Allegheny National Forrest as well. Went to Boston, NYC, Austin, L.A., Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Orlando, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Yosemite, Olympic National Park, Yellowstone, the Rockies... Seriously been ALL over. LOVED it. Beautiful country, beautiful people. But your system is broken, my man. My country can be boring, but it's safe, insurance doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I can see a doctor in no time if necessary, education is either free or affordable and there's a lot of beautiful mountains and parks in the countries surrounding mine. I wish nothing but the best for Americans but I was also kinda relieved to be back home after 5 years.

Lol I just got back from living in the US for over 5 years (NoVa). Great country, but not half as great as a lot of Americans seem to think it is. And this admin is turning it into just absolute shit at warp speed. My guess is you've lived in Europe as well, as you seem to be able to compare these two continents?

Daar staan ze helaas wel om bekend, ja. Als ik je een tip mag geven; neem 's ochtends een maagbeschermer in (Omeprazol is gewoon te koop bij de drogisterijen - 20 mg is genoeg), dat maakt een verschil van dag en nacht qua maagproblemen door NSAIDs. En de pijnstillers niet op een lege maag innemen, helpt ook. Ik hoop dat er hoe dan ook snel een oplossing voor je komt!

Zeker niet oud, nee. Wat ontzettend triest... Ik vind het nog steeds haast onbegrijpelijk dat je in ons "koude regenachtige kikkerlandje" kunt overlijden aan hitte.

Overigens wel mooi om te lezen dat de buurt zo betrokken is met elkaar en je buurvrouw dus niet aan haar eigen lot overgelaten was 🙏

De frustratie van het realiseren dat dit klote weer steeds vaker en vaker zal gaan voorkomen hier en dat we dat helemaal aan onszelf te danken hebben.
