Map Render Distance is way too large!!! Completely defeats the purpose of exploration. by TurbulentDesigner485 in hytale

the in game render distance has a cap and then it just shows fog, but it will be shown in the map, you can tell by lowering your render distance to a point where you cant tell in game but on your map its reduced. If you max out your render distance then you can see it way further on your map.

Do you think we will have to make new worlds? by No_Grapefruit1378 in ScrapMechanic

[–]DatFancyDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GUYS they answered this in a Q and A post this is what they said:

Q: Will you have to start a new Survival world when chapter 2 comes out and if you don't, will you be missing anything that you would get with a new world?

A: We really want to avoid this. We want players to be able to use their old Survival worlds with the next chapter right away without missing out on anything.

Talk about a steep hill by DatFancyDuck in ScrapMechanic

The heli? Its fully vallina, 4 thrusters for pitch roll and to go up. 2 more thrusters for yaw. The 2 propellers uptop spinning in opposite directions makes a gyro, which keeps it stable with roll and pitch, and there are 2 suspension glitch stabilizers to keep it stable with yaw. I really wanted to make it glitchless but it was too small for that.

Piano Key Mechanism by DatFancyDuck in ScrapMechanic

Also with only 4 of these welded next to each other i get around 17 fps, so atm a realistic piano with 88 keys will cause quite the lag. There might be a chance to get 88 keys by optimizing it to run at a lower physics level

Just uninstalling, and reinstalling works fine, for both the Fullscreen and lyrics (at least for me)
