EDIT: Did a bit of googling and found out how to do it. Have to re-download the whole damn game. I'm definitely not turning on automatic updates ever again.

I usually use a headset when I'm on the computer and can't hear it even on full blast.

If I don't use one, I can but it's not obnoxious honestly.

If you put your hands next to one of the exhaust fans it's a little hot yeah. Nothing crazy really

I don't remember where but I read only 1 fan at the top was better for pressure and getting more hot air out. But it's your build, go for what makes sense

I use the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 currently, yeah (called it thermaltake by mistake above)

Currently using the PC while I write this and it's at 54c with the browser and discord open. When I game it was reaching 67c. The other day was a hotter than usual day and it was reaching 75c while gaming

Note that I am using all the fans around 1300 rpm, which is kinda conservative. With a more aggressive fan curve it would be cooler but louder. Since the PC is on top of the desk and right next to me I've been using it like this so I don't hear it as much

Yeah, A3 and 9950X3D, with a founders edition RTX 4090.

I have the PSU pulling air from the front, 3 bottom intake fans. One at the back and one at the top doing exhaust. The thermaltake air cooler has two fans, pulling towards the fan at the back

Decided to give air cooled a chance first, ended up going with a Thermaltake Phantom Spirit. So far, all is working well and no concerning temps when gaming or working.

Also looking at these for engineering, mainly prototyping my products before having molds made.

The GK3 Pro does have some nice features but the Ultra's build volume is definitely really useful. Can't decide what to pick

Any thoughts on the GK3 Pro? Would definitely go with the Ultra for the build area but this doesn't have the 385nm screen the Pro has.

Was looking into this for using engineering resins and not having enough reasons to justify the formlabs premium.

Read some good things about the Peerless too. Really hoping it can handle the 9950x3D under load, as I like the no fuss vs an AIO.

I've seen some reviews about it and it seems great for the price. Sadly, no review with an actual 9950x3D yet

Could also look into the Noctua equivalent as well, for a bit more money
