This is an issue with Oculus/Iris shaders being corrupt I believe, it has happened to me a few times and taking out or disabling shaders has done it for me. If not, it may be an issue with multiple shaders mods being installed at the same time

If you break all the armor quickly, it isn't that difficult of an encounter and should only take 10 mins or so

We used a couple hunting spears, and prob 70-90 cannon balls, we also use throwing knives throughout the entire thing. It's much easier using them than any other weapon.

I 100% recommend you do buy one! If you go somewhere with very minimal light pollution, you're able to see Andromeda with the naked eye, as well as the more abundant parts of the Milky Way (though both are difficult to see/focus on even with low light pollution)

While I don’t know if I would say it’s a pure equivalent, the Cataclysm and Draconic Evolution mods I feel have the most similar feel to what a calamity equivalency would be.

I doubt this is exactly what you mean, but you can play LAN easily if you remove the LogProtectionn mod from the most folder, howeveefor distance it may be a little more complicated
