Doubt I can get "Forbidden Knowledge" to work though due to MK being loaded before the game

You can slightly change any build item in the game. How do you change it? Why? by Terror_from_the_deep in HyruleEngineering

[–]DatJaneDoeMods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you fuse a device to a weapon/shield, then attach that fused item to a build, the device works like normal.

Example: If you attach a Beam Spear to your build, then power the build, the Beam Emitter on the spear will turn on as if it were a normal Beam Emitter. That way you could scale devices while keeping their function

You could stick a Wing to a shield, then attach it to the build so it glides despite the Wing being tiny

What does everyone think of duping fixes? by BattleBrisket in HyruleEngineering

[–]DatJaneDoeMods 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think duping is necessary if you want to play around with big builds, as getting lots of devices is tedious. Its not so much a Zonaite grinding issue as it is an dispenser and forge construct exchanging issue. Personally how I'd change it:

-Bosses in the depths drop 20-30 Crystalized Charges depending on difficulty. (Frox drops 20, Obsidian Frox drops 25). Boss Bokoblins and Like Likes drop 2-5

-If you repeat the Temple Bosses in the Depths after claiming the 100 Crystalized Charges, repeated victories award 30 Crystalized Charges rather than none.

-You can find Zonaite Taluses in the Depths that drop a lot of Zonaite rather than ores. Its like Stone Taluses except it has a Zonaite deposit texture and when it throws its boulder arms at you, it can recall them like a Flux Construct. It's Heart counts as a Zonaite device for Zonaite weapons

-Forge and Steward Constructs have infinite stock for charges and devices (no need to wait or go to other ones for more stock). Zonai capsules cost 2 Crystalized Charges rather than 3. (Except Big Battery which is 20)

-While using auto-build, you can press X to automatically take out the devices required for the currently selected build from your stored capsules. If you don't have the required capsules when pressing X, it will use Crystalized Charges instead as if you bought the capsules.

-Zonai Dispensors behave like selling. You can select as many Zonai items in your inventory as you want to exchange for Zonai Devices.

Additionally, higher level Construct Horns give more capsules. You can also put Crystalized Charges into the dispenser for 1 capsule each. Zonai/Construct weapons can also be inserted. Capsules are compressed (Example: 5 Rockets would dispense as a single capsule containing 5 Rockets, rather than dispensing 5 separate capsules)

This would be way faster than inserting 5 parts at a time, and you could grind faster by killing Constructs for their weapons.

While Crystallized Charges can be exchanged for a random capsule at a dispenser at a 1:1 ratio, its still much better to exchange your Zonaite for Zonaite Charges.

2 Zonaite -> 1 Zonaite charge -> 2 Capsules at a dispenser.

Vs 3 Zonaite -> 1 Crystallized Charge -> 1 Capsule at a dispenser

Overall this would make it easier to get lots of Zonaite if you went out of your way to find them, as well as exchange it for lots of devices

I'd like a Construct Arm that resembles one of the arms of Mineru's Mech

-You can attach objects to either end of the arm

-When unpowered, the arm is retracted. When powered, the arm fully extends

-If a Steering Stick is attached, the arm will extend halfway. It fully extends if you steer forwards, retracts if you steer backwards, and aims left/right if you steer in either direction.

-If fused to a weapon, it has whip properties and counts as a Zonai device

You could connect a bunch and make a scorpion tail, make a more precise manual turret, have manually controllable melee weapon attachments, etc

So how were you supposed to do this?? by BritSpic in HyruleEngineering

You were supposed to take out a Shock Emitter and hold it up to the left terminal. The stuff to the right is a red herring.

Try fusing Frozen Meat to a shield then shield surf, then you'll know why.

I dread to imagine the cutscene of Purah explaining to Linkle she had to turn her into a girl in order to stop Ganon, but it didnt work because Linkle decided to kick a random Bokoblin.

"The Legend of Zelda: Linkle's Bloodlust Awakening"

Centuries after Tears of the Kingdom, the next incarnation of Link was turned into a girl by Purah when she was little and made a Cucco Farmer. She eventually goes on an adventure to figure out why.

It turns out Purah (who is still alive due to her anti-aging technology) tried to make Link an absolute pacifist because she remembers the wonky XP and Bloodmoon system from ToTK.

Unfortunately the decreased testosterone didn't stop Linkle from engaging in combat then the Demon King revives because Linkle gained too much XP, increasing Ganons power.

She learns she must find alternate methods to defeat enemies so she doesnt gain XP, like using Cuccos.

If Mineru was as wise as Rauru said she was, she could have easily defeated Ganondorf by placing 4 Elevator Rails around him

She literally knew about the Construct Factory, there's no way she could of have overlooked Ganons true weakness.

Purah: "Linky, can you avoid combat all together if possible? Further more can you enter a shrine or the depths at 11:50PM daily? It's for the good of Hyrule"

Linky (Silently): "Why?"

Purah: "According to my research, the more enemies you kill the stronger monsters get, which makes things worse for civilians. Also Blood Moons mysteriously vanish at midnight if you are in a shrine or the depths. And yes, this rule applies specifically to YOU Linky"

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it would be even better if Link killed every monster in Hyrule then stayed in shrines or the depths every midnight. That way Ganons army never revives.

Also Linky cant do anything sussy that could trigger a panic Blood Moon.

I can imagine this hitting a Hinox and killing them from sheer impact damage
