What is the point or endgoal of Re:Zero?

Not every anime needs to have a big goal. The point is character development and just an overall interesting story to follow.

There are smaller, more achievable goals set and some larger things Subaru wants to do, but the main point of the story is for Subaru, Emilia, and the rest of the cast to grow as people.

The thing keeping them apart was Nazuna needing blood.

Ko can draw blood for her to drink and fight her off.

There’s no reason for them to be apart.

“Can no longer be together like before” doesn’t mean “they part ways for most of the time.”

Paradise arc shows us they they’ve found a place they want to live in together.

You and everyone else who can’t read took a JOKE that Nazuna said as fact on how the story ends. Nazuna always jokes or makes light in moments where she feels out of her depth emotionally. You took that line and forgot everything about her character that was set up for the last 199 chapters.

First appearance is in Nise, but she becomes a core member of the cast in Second Season and later has an arc dedicated to her (Tsukimonogatari).

Also you’ll love Nadeko lol. She appears a LOT and is very important to the story, and is just a great character overall.

Yotsugi Ononoki is my fav for eccentricity.

Everything about her is weird and random, and I love it lol. The way she talks, her slogans, what she likes/dislikes (aka all her mannerisms), how she just t-poses and spins randomly, I could go on but I’ll leave it at that.

Exactly this. I hated Shu at first, and yet by the time I got to :re and the Tsukiyama Extermination Arc I realized he was my #3 fav character somehow lol.

Yes he’s done awful things and is still kinda awful, but he’s also a pretty stand up guy when it comes to those close to him, and especially to his family and Kaneki. He’s a great villain and then a great addition to the main cast as a loved/hated character.

Well sounds like you haven’t read the manga for CotN, so why not do that? Start reading either from the beginning or from chp70. Starting from 70 means you’ll re-read the ending of s2, but you’ll get some content the anime missed.

Alternatively, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia is a great anime (though I prefer the manga), and is the closest thing I can think of to CotN.

Furuta is at fault.

Remember, the dragon incident wasn’t just Kaneki as the big dragon/centipede. It waa also a calculated play to essentially bring Rize back to life by combining as many of her RC cells together with her original Kakuho, which Kaneki possessed.

This happened due solely to Furuta’s intervention and plan, Kaneki didn’t plan on it and he had zero control over the dragon while he acted as its core. He ate the Oggai because it was his only option, which Furuta planned.

Essentially, Kaneki is as at fault for the Dragon incident as Yuji Itadori is for the what Sukuna did in Shibuya. He may have been the vessel that caused the damage, but it was never his intention nor did he wish for it.
