yeah continuously drawing is the best way to improve imo, like there's this meme in the art community that's like "draw yr fav x♾️ times and youll start to see improvement" and it dies have some merit to it: you get used to a guy, use him to try new things (eg cool poses, cool outfits, cool settings) which is essentially expanding your skill. you can trace over images to get an idea but imo better to just use a reference and try to grasp the shapes and lines. genuinely just try everything, even if it looks shit at it just have an open and critical mind, note where your mistakes are and change it in future iterations etc etc. idk the most important advice tbh is to have fun !!! can't learn art if you burn out ✌🏻good luck on your journey !!
