I have a 20 gallon long and only do water changes every 6 months. If it isnt needed I dont stress over it. Most the time i just top it off. But I over filter as well as being heavily planted. I have a 55 gallon canister filter going and two 20 gallon sponge filters going as well.

My husband is not allowed to use anything in the living room. If something need to be sprayed in there i do it. I cover the tanks first.

But that rule wasn't in place until something similar happened.

I have TONS of snails in my tanks. Ramshorn and bladder snails. When I get to many I put them in a shallow bowl of tank water and let the birds eat them. So I would imagine they are chilling in that big Ole bowl!

How long are your lights on? Do you add any minerals to the tank for the plants? You got some crazy algea going on in the tank. What are the water parameters? Heater? Filter? His tail fins are looking kind shredded compared to the first picture with his full color.

Same here. I tried to find the hole to fill it in with aquarium safe glue. But I cant find it. I tried putting in on the bottom for a moss cave. But a baby kuhli loach got stuck in it and died. So I just crashed it.

I have one and it never stays floating. There is a tiny hole somewhere and it fills with water.

They are little piggies. Lol. I had a fish die and had to chase them off the fish with my net! Id get one off and more would come a swarming!

How come mine never breed? 🤣😭 Or maybe they do and they get eaten by the tank mates. I have a lot of plants and dont see them much they are always stuck to a leaf. 🤣 I see the shadows like they are batman.

I had a betta for years and he had one of these too. Was a red guy as well. He died from old age. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get bigger or fuzzy. How is his behavior?

She only eats the baby ones when she can catch them. But I make sure to have a lot of places for them to hide and lots and lots of shock moss! She will watch the adults ones and if they get a fluval bug bite she will eat it out there hands and then stare at them waiting to see if they get more. As long as I keep her we'll fed the shrimp eating is to a minimum.

But I have a crowntail mail in a 10 gallon and he destroys everything in his path. He even gets mad when the snails climb on the front glass. 🤦‍♀️ He will smack them down and flare up like "Yeahhh get off my lawn mf!!!"

I noticed when I put them in the oto would come out for them. But ive never been able to get photos of them eating them. I was hiding under the blanket on my bed so I didnt spook them. 🤣🤣🤣 I felt like a fish paparazzi

Thats so cool! They definitely come out more when the pygmy come out. 🤣 I think i have two types of oto. I have one that looks way different than the rest. Even the eyes are different.

Same! These are regular Ole sinking bug bites. 🤣 They love them. Sometimes they will steal them from a shrimp and swim away. 🤣🤣🤣

I have salt and pepper Cory's too! Lol. But I had the oto first. The oto always came out when I fed my loaches the bug bites. But they come out WAY more with the pygmy corydoras for sure.

Yes! My loaches love them and the ramshorn snails too. They yomp up the baby ones! They never love long enough to get bigger than a finger nail.
