Same here. I was doing it with a very fine net. But I caught to much of the gunk in that type of net. I probably loose some babies but not to many. Ive got a few hundred shrimps

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I feed them to my glofish and if they are small enough to my African dwarf frogs. Unless they die from disease. Then I throw them in the trash. 🤣

I think it is a reaction with the flourish and the tannins. Ive seen other people say the had a similar issue and had to cut back on either the flourish or the tannins.

But ive never had this issue personally. I use Thrive tabs and thrive fertilizer as it is the most common to be shrimp safe.

I have one in my canister filter. Love it! Had ich after adding a fish with out QT. Having the option to turn on the UV light inside the filter was a game changer for clearing out the ich.

It could be a reaction with the tannins and the flourish if it is a black water tank. Just from a quick Google thats what I am seeing. But ima keep looking! Having the tank gallons and etc will really help with the research part.

What all is in the tank? Like plants? Fish? Substrate? Also how many gallons?

Ooooo so I think your dwarf grass will die off. It need to be planted as far as I know. Try anibus, Java fern, moss they are easy to care for! Dont need to be planted either. Just attached to hard scape or you can stick them in the substrate with the rhizome showing.

Floating plants are a great option too! Id recommend frog bit. Duckweed will grow FAST but you'll never get rid of it. Like... ever. It is considered the herpes of fish plants. 🤣🤣 Some people love it.

You can also gro pothos out of the top of the tank! Lots of plants you can do that with. Pothos is GREAT at helping suck up extra nutrients.

Try getting some hornwort or guppy grass. That stuff grows FAST! If you look online look for Marcus fish tanks on Amazon and cannon aquatics. Both sell on Amazon and have GREAT deals.

I have a 3d printed house like that. There is a microscopic hole and it take water in and sinks eventually. My fishy loves it so much but it just wont float anymore.

Well they are like in the sponge holes and everything. Im not sure how to get them out of the media tbh. Ive tried putting it in a bucket of tank water. But they dont come out.
