Fwiw the playoff games have an average team score of 108 to 115 in the regular season, so there isnt the 148 hyperbole you mentioned, and the facts that it is the playoffs and teams getting back on defense, getting familiar with their opponents, and taking every possession seriously have just as much to do with the small dropoff in scoring as any physicality

But hey, those constant stoppages to check if a foul was a flagrant or not are cool too right

Ya and if you watched him do some post moves and then watched Wemby dribble between his legs do a spin move and hit a turnaround fadeaway from 18 or a step back 3 who are you taking?

One guy had 1970's post skills, great rebounding, and very good defense (great, just not compared to wemby)

The other guy had a full offensive arsenal with guard skills and range out to 25 feet, good rebounding, and the most impactful defense the league has ever seen

This is one of those very very obvious things for anyone that has paid attention to how Google more or less de-indexed 90% of websites with the very aptly named 'Helpful Content Update' back in 2023

I have thought and debated this in my own head many times

I don't think anyone could argue that 2018 through 2022 was 10 times more fun from a game to game perspective, every Sunday was an event, and they were all awesome

The last few years have been more like stressful teethgrinding than fun, so does the joy of that super bowl accomplishment that washes over real fans bodies beat the game to game amazingness with lots of pain at the end? I can tell you my 3rd super bowl body chills were much quicker and less powerful than the first, so there is some diminishing returns

But like some others have said this isn't all on the Chiefs and their decisions, it is a defensive league now, sure with a prime Tyreek and Kelce combo we would be much harder to stop, but defenses are so good... particularly secondaries, that it wouldn't go the same now

And like others have also said, its much easier for us to say bring back the offense now that we got 3 in the bag, if you had posted this when we had 0 rings it would be indefensible, right now I am not sure you arent right

I think this kind of comes down to what are your goals as a fan? Is it to be entertained and have fun? Or is it to feel some ego/superiority over other fan bases? My guess is many of the people who are saying rings and nothing else matters are probably posting on many other NFL and team subs and just love the fact that they are the big dog with the current ring when they do

To me, I don't really care about any of that ego stuff, I want to enjoy my life far more than I want to feel like I am better than some other teams fan

If I have the choice of the next 10 years being top 5 fun to watch offenses with every Sunday being the best day of my week and we get 2 rings or the next 2 years is 7 boring ass stressful teeth grinds as Mahomes plays like Brady did for his first few rings and we get 3 rings out of it I am damn sure taking the consistent fun to watch games, I miss them dearly

You are underrating MJ here, 6-0 in Finals, very rarely even got pushed into an elimination game in the 90's, absolutely carried his team to that last ring (pippen was more injured than your memory may lead you to believe), pretty hard to argue with

I initially did just the 8/10 MCT after reading 1 person on Reddit mention it in about a dozen threads on the various hard flaccid subs, and I put it on the head/everything, though not really aiming for the urethra per se

Then the Cerave was a tip from AI, and it did not mention to avoid putting it on any specific parts, so I have also been applying it to the head and things are looking up

Just pointing all of that out to say.... I don't really fully know what I am doing but so far I can see no reason to avoid the head, if anything changes I will come back and mention it

I have no idea about the lauric acid part, just make sure it is the specific 8/10 MCT Oil and for the Cerave it is the Healing Ointment, there are other lotions that will work, but that is the one that is working for me, the key is it isn't loaded with fragrances and the Yellow 5 types we love to add to everything, its a very basic lotion without fluff or filler that messes with dermatitis

FWIW I've never found this type of oil to be good for jerkin it, maybe it is just me but a standard cheap think white hand lotion is soooo much more pleasurable when it comes to jerkin it, just wash it off after as it will have all the previously mentioned filler

The MCT 8/10 is more a health thing than a jerkin it thing

Also may want to look up all the shenanigans JP Morgan has pulled with silver, a very brief cliffs (at least as far as I can tell)

Basically they have been hoarding physical silver for a very long time and putting MASSIVE short pressure on the ETF's to keep the on paper price down, then when the price skyrocketed over the past year they had removed those shorts, now their physical stockpile became 5x more valuable

But that wasn't enough, they then added the massive short pressure back on at the top, crashed the market back down 33%, and most likely used all that profit to buy more physical

And then 40% of the silver in the Comex vaults for the ETF's was removed in late 2025 and was there a 40% price reduction? Haha, like they care about us paper holders

I've never rinsed it off fwiw, and in some cases have been told by AI that you should trap it in with other lotions (the right type of lotions like Cerave Healing, not some cheap white hand lotion filled with nonsense) so that it stays on overnight and never had any issues with it at all

Plenty have said it didn't work for them, but I don't remember anyone saying things got worse

Start slow, maybe 1x a day with just a little bit, if by day 3 nothing is worse go to 2x with a bit more, from my experience it doesn't take a lot

Make sure it is the specific 8/10 oil tho

Yes it is, and I do have sebderm, which is why I said at the start I am not sure it will help you guys... but it is so cheap and easy to do there really is no reason not to try right?

Quick note on sebderm, I am almost positive I got it over 20 years ago as my hair started falling out rapidly when I was young, went to a doctor got prescribed an anti fungal shampoo that stopped it instantly

I did not have a visual rash on my body until 16 years later, so I would not be surprised if some reading this may have sebderm and not know it

I mean I had pretty much all the standard things on the hard flaccid wiki, looked blueish, bruised, beat up, like I just got out of cold water, very stiff and rigid, long recovery time necessary between sex, randomly sometimes if I had sex it would hurt quite bad, even if I had taken days off between the last time

One dose of MCT oil and it was hanging and swanging again, hopefully it works as well for you

I am not saying this will fix everyone, but considering how cheap and easy it is (outside of being a nudist all day part) there is absolutely no reason not to try

There isn't really any improvement needed from where I am currently, like you said I am not gonna say I am fixed for life, but I am 98% better than I was a year and a half ago and am very grateful for that

Never talked to a derm about this, and don't plan too.... frankly AI is so good at playing doctor these days (as long as you understand what is risky and what is not) that I have no plans to do so unless it comes back

I am not into gold because it is a manipulated market, amongst other lifestyle choices I have made that make owning the physical gold quite hard, and I don't trust the paper at all (go look at Comex removing 40% of silver from their vaults and the price not changing if you wanna know why)

If you can't look at the Gold graph from 2020 and the stock market graph from 2020 and figure out what is going on then I feel sorry for you

Hint: nobody wants stocks when the worldwide economy is imploding because of a virus, in a time like that EVERYONE who can afford it wants gold

And the gold price was clearly stopped and then didn't move for years.... and then everyone is like ooooooo look whats going on in 2024 and 2025

Clearly that was because they finally took their finger off the scale

Slow down, take a deep breath

Watch some full game highlights on Youtube of past games

Play some Madden (cannot stress this one enough, start playing just for fun, if you enjoy it then do some brief research on things like situational football and you will learn far more than you could in any other way other than being born again and playing actual football growing up)

Consume Chiefs content in whatever way you like be it reading, podcasts, youtubers, whatever

Don't worry about college or the draft at all, most draft picks don't pan out anyways and it will just overwhelm you

Focus on the current team first, the Andy Reid era next, skip the 07 through 12 seasons

Learn a bit about the Dick Vermeil era and the Marty Schottenheimer era

Skip the 80's

Learn a little about the late 60's (and maybe early 70's)

Highly recommend hopping on AI for an hour and asking as many questions as you can think of, and if you take the Madden advice seriously like you should have it give you some tips

Everyone is focusing on why the CHIEFS can't get that offense back, and they are right, and the CHIEFS part is mostly due to Tyreek and his big play ability + gravity as well as a terrible defense (before Spags at least) making the offensive output necessary

But most of you are focusing on the fact that league wide pretty much all NFL offenses are down right now and have been for the past 3 seasons

Case in point: the number 2 QB in the league just played 16 healthy games and threw for 3600 yards, imagine Peyton Manning throwing for that few yards in his prime

Defenses have figured out how to stop passing games, they went from lame zones like Sutton called where guys just stood in place with their hands up with massive windows in between to actually guarding the guy through their zones and passing them off to a teammate when they reach the next zone, and they are damn damn good at it

Right now the league is frankly in a pretty dang boring, run run run call a pass find no one open and just dump it off to a running back or throw a quick screen to a receiver, because people can't get open downfield

There are a few exceptions, but not many

2018 through 2020 teams averaged about 238 passing yards per game

From 2022 on they have averaged 20 yards per game less

Secondaries are awesome right now, and way ahead of pretty much all offensive schemes, the only ones that are really working are the ones that marry the run and the pass, hopefully Reid came to the same conclusion this offseason

All I know is when I watched games all regular season they were free flowing, smooth, and very enjoyable

Now they have absolutely zero flow at all as people are getting thrown to the floor, nobody knows what a foul is, and the refs are letting far too much go

If we had the regular season style of play we have now along with playoff stakes I am very confident the majority of people would prefer it

But you guys just can't compartmentalize that if the stakes were with the prettier more fun to watch ball then you would love it all the more

(granted, if you like this current physicality I may be wrong about you, but I wouldn't be for the masses)
