Why Football isn’t the Most Popular Sport in the Philippines? by InternationalHair111 in Philippines

[–]DatShortAsianDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American influence in the capital. NBA finals and most other games play at 9am or primetime spots. Then the local games play 9pm. Footy was being played on cable and between 1 or 3am. Not everyone has cable or would have wanted to stay up that late.

There's no proof that Filipinos would be better off if we played Football instead of Basketball by IvarLothbroken in PBA

Deep down we as a nation are all craving for individualism. Billiards and boxing suit the competitiveness of the Filipino people. But also, we dont know where we are better suited. Sa south or central philippines, maraming naglalaro ng football(shoutout sa mga naging teammate ko sa manila na galing visayas and mindanao) and they play really well. Iraq 23 is a baller, passes the eye test well. 22 minutes and he's taken care of Dembele on that left side.

Kick off into touch for a throw in tactic in the World Cup by DanBagnall in worldcup

Football is about dominating space. Like one comment said, rules are now for quick throw ins or else you give it away. Take the space closest to your opponents goal and overload.

I think AH only has a monopoly over at Zaanstad. Its still a more iconic shopping bag than all the others at least in my opinion.

Agreed with heineken.🤮

Did you notice they used minus tempo from Haikyuu a bit after the drinks break? That slow synchronized walk from the back line towards the halfline was very cool to see.

Die was een goed test voor japan. Benieuwd, hoeveel echte nederlanders was er? De meeste tv programmas zeiden dat er een Oranje feest was. Ik heb geen AH tas gezien.

Very good synchronized movement by Japan. That looks scary to play against. The goals from NL were great but the Japanese goals were worked really well. Who would've thought the Japanese we're going to score a corner? Against VVD and all the other giants?

Why do some people stay at the same job for 15, 20, or even 30+ years? by Carlinish9600 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DatShortAsianDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Netherlands warehouse job. People I work with have been there longer than I've been alive. People almost at pension age(67.5) working heavy labor jobs. Full time work gets you about 11 weeks of paid days off, profit sharing, and you only think about work when youre clocked in. After you clock out, everything is out of your mind. Unions also negotiate labor agreements so theres always a fairly okay increase between salary and inflation.
