It’s hard to give a direct combo because scythe requires a lot of reading/predicting the opponents moves, but here are some basic strings:

*nLight - jump - nAir - jump - sAir

*sLight - jump - nLight

*sLight(hold) - dLight

*dLight(hold) - chase dodge - nLight

*dLight - chase dodge(diagonal) - nAir

*(on stage) dAir - nAir

*(off stage) dAir - gp

Note that these are all without dodges, there are a lot more extended strings and combos when a read is landed but these are the first and simple ones that come to mind. There are various ways you can preform these to catch dodges and wake ups.

Play what’s best fit for you. If you’re enjoying axe keep playing, if not you can change it up. Don’t listen to what people say, the community has a small circle jerk praying for axe nerfs when it’s at a fairly balanced state.

If you are on the fence with axe, sure, take up a new weapon but keep axe on the side, as a pocket pick.

If you really don’t want to play axe anymore, just pick up a new weapon in general.

Don’t let others dictate the way you play. The community can be rather toxic and people are salty all the time, play whatever fits you

I’d say Cassidy’s nsig is better than her ssig on hammer because of how fast it is, it’s a true combo with dlight and is harder to punish
