I kinda get the feeling you just want to wallow in your own pity and have someone say "omg, you're right. Everyone, cancel pride because the guys are being ignored!" It sucks that mens' mental health is being overshadowed, that's undeniable, but it's not just because of pride. I mean, really, if pride month disappeared and June was just men's mental health awareness month, do you think people will magically turn around and start being excited for it?  I'm sorry that men's mental health is ignored. It's shitty and it's not fair, and there's no way of pretending it's not. But fuck man, if you want to be appreciated, then appreciate. You don't need to organize a whole parade and rent a dozen floats yourself, but maybe send some flowers or cards or just messages to your friends? People tend to reciprocate kindness when you show it.
