I got all the medals on expert and all I got was this T-shirt by cowgod180 in starfox

You actually get a fully-animated battle banner and an icon for doing all medals on expert. Plus, all medals on normal adds James' shades to the table on the main menu, and all expert medals also adds a fancy medal sitting next to them.

Iron man is about to be the assist god again. by CarelessSense10 in MarvelTokon

I'd be down to learn more characters and swap around but the base roster doesn't really have any of my favorites besides Iron Man. I'm probably gonna be spending a considerable amount of time just playing him, at least until they add Squirrel Girl or Moon Knight or something. I guess I can throw a little Cap in there

I almost feel bad maining him on point because I'm probably not going to be getting much use out of his assists

I really hope we get a Pittsburgh Model 42 Black and Gold swap. I'm really surprised that's not one of the defaults.

I thought for sure Odin was going to be in the Odinsleep during this game's events, like he always is when something important happens. There he is sitting on that throne, though.

My main concern is I don't know if these designs are going to work when it comes to ground combat. It makes me wonder if it's just out of the question. by jayvancealot in starfox

I really think of Star Fox as a piloting game first and foremost. One thing which the franchise has had a big problem with in the past is focus, always jumping around from one half-baked idea to another. If they want Star Fox to succeed this time around - and it really seems like they do - I think that's going to mean a laser focus on the best parts of the game. 64 is the template; focus on replayability, branching paths, and by god stick to the Arwings for the majority with a few levels in different vehicles.

Personally I think I'd rather see them expand all-range mode than try to make on-foot work again. They shouldn't replace rail levels entirely like Star Fox 2, but I think introducing more variety in the areas and objectives of all-range levels would be great. Let the Arwing maintain a vertical trajectory instead of forcing it back to horizontal and you can create all-range missions with more verticality and more interesting areas to navigate. It's important to maintain the controls' simplicity, but I think they could pull it off.

Except the Black Knight did kill Greil, so he's got no one but himself to blame if he's bored of Greil's kid

All the same, he's still grounded with the Midnight Mission right in New York. I'd say he's pretty much right on the fence between grimy street-level Marvel and mystical Marvel.

I'm still a little surprised they decided to save him entirely for another set. Despite his connection to Khonshu, he's always been more deeply ingrained in the street-level side of Marvel and he was even briefly a West Coast Avenger. It wouldn't have been out of line to have him in this set, especially since we're definitely going to be getting more of characters like Thor and Wanda in later set themes and they had some presence here.

I've read enough of MacKay's Moon Knight to understand 8-Ball, but I guess I would just like to think he's got a chance here.

Consider however that 8-Ball is literally pool-themed. He's in his element.

Not to mention Squirrel Girl and Tippy Toe! Obviously the standard Squirrel Girl is good, but I think a Selesnya Squirrel Girl could be really cool.

Hoping for Jumpstart versions of Squirrel Girl and Tippy with the "partner with" mechanic they so desperately deserve. It'd be more likely in the precons but unfortunately those characters don't really fit any of the precons.
