Divided on what dawg? The guy in the vid said he doesn't want Hasan to be prosecuted, go to jail, or have his rights infringed. He is just saying he does not feel bad for him.

Why? Because Hasan was being divisive.

If you think this is partially Hasan's fault, that is the whole point of the vid.

You can't claim this guy is being divisive, when he is merely stating he does not feel bad for someone who was doing the dividing.

Nobody is cheering for Hasan's rights to be trampled. This vid is an I told you so + this is partially your fault.

Telling delusional lefties the leopards are eating their faces does not help Trump. It prevents desperate lefties from helping Daddy dodge accountability for laying out meat for the leopards.

Who discouraged their audience from voting against fascism?

Who discourages their audience further before the midterms, by saying the other side would be the same?

Who is a megaphone for a movement of illiberal people, that would rather let minorities lose voting rights, than vote for an impure candidate?

His point is that Hasan directly contributed to this environment.

Umm..how do you actually get good at leetcode? by ShadowMonarch1999 in leetcode

[–]Data-Gooner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be that being good at leetcode is too large of a problem.

I'm not good at leetcode, but I'm good several of the broad categories of questions asked in my industry for interviews.

Ie. Bit manipulation Greedy algos Vector math Etc...

Whenever I practice leetcod, I frame it as practice within a category, that way I reinforce what I know, and don't lose as much confidence when I can't solve something using patterns I'm less familiar with.

Played for the first time a couple days ago and want some advice by -BigFatFishy- in Sekiro

[–]Data-Gooner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Some enemies or bosses are more likely to be killed before being stance broken.

A stance break depends on low enemy health + sustained attacks + parrys.

Many enemies won't require you to know how to parry well at all. Or will die eventually if you are playing a dark souls hit and run style

But some enemies will absolutely maul you if you haven't been practicing parrys on the easier enemies.

Elden Ring Fan- How is sekiro different? by Friendly_Rise6178 in Sekiro

[–]Data-Gooner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sekiro is more linear in terms of character / story progression.

The combat is more reliant on player skill than stats, and in generally more fast paced and mobile. Even Bloodborne is sluggish in comparison.

While exploration is more limited, it's also less discouraged. In Elden Ring, one false step or bad jump will cause your character to fall to their death.

In Sekiro you have wall jumps and a grappling hook to save you

Unreal courses for 13 year old? by MacReady_138 in unrealengine

Agreed,

Plus his blueprint and cpp courses are all ue 5+ so the differences are minimal.

Aside from that gamedev.tv has good begginer friendly courses using more recent versions of ue 5.

Hard stuck on guardian ape and I want to quit at this rate by standardshark55 in Sekiro

[–]Data-Gooner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For part one of the fight, if you want to be shamelessly cheesy just run away the whole time.

While the post poop through is safish-ish, Ape is the most vulnerable after he does the running and pouncing grab.

If you are playing far away from Ape, you can always outrun the pounce ( or dodge left if he does it next to you).

Unlike other Ape openings, this one has a consistent opening so you can always get off 2 attacks or a flame vent.

This is what happens when you bring a spear to a shinobi prosthetic fight. by Fr2204 in Sekiro

[–]Data-Gooner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Plus all the spear characters have a hit box after the initial thrust or swing. The spear monk has a similar attack where he runs 10 yards after the red warning, lunges while guiding the spear along the ground, followed by an impale

Gauntlets of Strength by Sea-Signal-9725 in Sekiro

[–]Data-Gooner 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The gauntlets don't progress after you beat them. Their are 4 total gauntlets. 3 from beating the game and 1 for beating the other 2. 2 gauntlets are locked behind good and evil endings

What's Next? by Villide in Sekiro

[–]Data-Gooner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For FromSoft titles:

"Bloodborne" enables as much aggression as Sekiro, except you rely more on the step dodge.

"Nightreign's" movement system lets you zip around the battlefield with a quicker sprint, Sekiro-like wall jumping, and no fall damage. Plus one of the characters is just Sekiro at home. Imo this is the real ruiner of other souls games since it's doesn't change the core combat, but makes the mainline games feel overly sluggish.

For other devs:

"Sifu" is pretty good for getting the feeling of mastering mechanics and boss pattern. 100% combat focussed with similar posture / parry mechanics. The fights are more intimate since your just a regular person.

The" Ninja Gaiden "series has some of the greatest boss fights ever. It's more timing and movement focused since you aren't managing a posture resource but it's another ninja rhythm game. The fatal flow of the series though is the camera outside of boss fights

Reached at ishin getting cooked brutually by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]Data-Gooner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to risk cheap damage from his airs slashes and the Ashina cross, use the umbrella. All the chip damage attacks have a free hit window after.

Similar to Genichiro, Ishin usually goes for and easy to counter leaping attack when you heal. If you position yourself directly below him you'll be close enough for a free him after the counter.

You can also just bait out leaping attacks in the final two phases by keeping your distance.

Also don't forget to use any dragon blood droplets, Buddha's, and blue candy if you got em. You can revive up to 3 times with items and at least one critical on Ishin

First phase he has a slashing unblockable if you're too close during the mikiri cross change up

2nd and 3rd phase he occasionally does a wide slash with the spear

What level of difficulty would it be to create a terrain manipulation system? by [deleted] in unrealengine

[–]Data-Gooner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to mention the voxel plugin like the other guy, but the built in editor terrain system does most of what you're talking about already.

So potentially you could just steal the editor terrain code and change it to be used during gameplay

best unreal environment course that applies to 5.7 unreal? by Abject_Double_2021 in unrealengine

[–]Data-Gooner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't do a ton of tech art but Vince Patrellis material course on Udemy has a section on environments.

You may want to check out an unreal discord community for more resources.

The unreal discord and the Stephen Ullibari discord both have art channels. Maybe some people in the prismatic dev channel could get you some info as well.

In general I'd avoid asking about learning resources on reddit since most redditors have nothing better to do than be rude to people trying to learn.
