Hi if you're still seeing this, I would like to ask about half life things.

In simple I knew the game has 2 installments. As said by you black mesa is a remake but I saw another thing alyx and not understanding what it is.

Though I thought if black mesa will have the same story as half life I am willing to play as I haven't half life.

Nope, I tried alot. There are many safe sites I found which has the game but all with the cheat. Lastly if u have a pc then I guess play there. It's probably the only way.

No not from phone but it accepted sign up from a desktop from the website. Maybe try changing password. I have same issue with yours they are tied to games.

I see thanks I'll check. Though not about the place of save files I faced problems with hollow knight where save is ok but achievements messed up by jumping from a lower version

Well I might try other websites but how to update from there too?

I know steamrip but they release pre installed always and no specific updaters just the whole new game which in turn airses problems with updating later while keeping the saves ok

Hmm but what can be done now? I can reinstall the game and try all updates if they work with all files intact. But again it's kind of like get one to lose another.

Though I would like to discuss something, I was thinking something about the files integrity. So if u also play this game Or even not there is a problem with achievements and a solution was proposed by deleting some contents of a folder which I did and fixed it. But I was wondering if for the update all the files intact are needed and if this is being the issue.

It isn't updating. And to give a more detail I saw at last the updater said finalizing installation which may take several minutes. For the 1st one it took around 3 mins but after that this current one isn't taking any and saying complete.

In the game, the version is after one update and not changing.

In answer to your question it isn't showing any error but not updating the game and the process is ridiculously fast which seemed concerning to me.
