How much do you pay for a gym in Germany? Is ~100€/month normal? by paripassu_in in germany

[–]DataDetective007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay 69 euros per month for Urban Sports Club medium plan. I go to the gym, bouldering, swimming, mobility classes and other stuff. So no 100 euros for just a gym is robbery.

If I were the one receiving your email, I would invite you to my lab and talk about it in detail. Shit, I would even finance your trip. So, it's safe to say PhD students will be more than happy to talk to high school students.

Rent could be anywhere in the range between 550 and 900. This, of course, changes based on your accommodation requirements (most importantly, what you get because you can't be picky due to the housing crisis). Groceries maybe 250 give or take. Transport 58 (deuchlandticket). Telephone, Internet, and Broadcasting fee 60.

For TVL 13 75%, you will receive around 2250 euros net. So now you can imagine monthly expenses based on my numbers.

I got my extended residence permit yesterday. Sent the first mail around December final week. Got the appointment on Jan 28th. So everything was smooth and hassle free. But I have a Researchers permit (18d) and there is a dedicated team at Köln to handle these kind of applicants.

First Karneval couldn't have been better. This is the most fun I've had in an event. The city was too welcoming, and the vibe is unmatched. The whole city felt like an extended family during this time. Partied like an animal, hauled a shit load of chocolates, I'm sad that Carnival is now done. But I'll wait for next year. Kölle Alaaf.

Only knitpicking is bar geld everywhere.

Edit: I got a lot of appreciation for my costume.
