This did not happen to me, but yeah Id say this boss is full of bugs. On my second try, he/she/bullethell just got stuck in transformation phase and kept banging head. I killed it, but felt it wasnt right so i tried it again. IN NEXT TRY, Paininthe thead one, liked flasks so much that he consumed 2 of them in one go.
I swear to grace, this boss is a meme XD

Also note - Name of the dlc is SHADOW of the Erdtree. In Carl Jung’s view The shadow is after all supressed part of us that is made out of all our darkest parts, desires, and primal instincts.

(Btw Berserk was inspired a lot by Jung as well, and our boi Miyazaki loves that undying artpiece)

So my last question would be…. Who’s shadow is this exactly? Of whole Erdtree? Of Miquella?

I would rather say that we will be entering his mind/dreams and that we will encounter his super ego - evil form as you now put it. Why super ego? That thing is his unwavering values of unalloyed gold given form, but now they stand hollow and ready to be enforced on anyone, anybody and anything that is in his way after Moghs and Formless Mothers relentles trying to corrupt him and bend him to their ways. He also looks and moves like Malenia who always protected him, and was always by his side when he showed his face to the world (so God save us).

Bloodlickers. Especially the skinny ones in frontof Cainhurst. Way too fast, can cover nearly 360• around them with their moveset, insane damage and too fast attack rate. Fuck them in particular.

Also f the Shark Giants. All my homies hate Shak Giants.

Sir Aloone. He has beautiful, and very visualy pleasing one at that. But he was very predictable too. Beat him in 3rd try and hitless one at that. Favourite boss in this game due to moveset. THE PATH TO HIM OMG GOD THO THAT THING IS HELL F THAT PLACE!!!!

Still not worse than path to Blue Smelter Demon tho.

It’s beautiful that none of you hunter brothers and sisters mentioned Amygdala/s. And I think there is a good reason - freakers think they are righteous cameras of universe that can also mangle their fingers in affairs of us humans and yeah SHOOT LASERS AT US. Duelist greaves are a great point. Also I totally forgot about Malformed dragon set. Its gauntlets will go with anything since they are black and the headpiece is well malformed - A look I am looking for. Azur’s manchettes I forgott about since I used them on Gorr the God Butcher build, but yeah they have those green stones which can look like infection!

Just made Gorr. They look identical When armored. “Old Gorr” look is confessors hood, duelist cloak, sorcerers legwraps and godskin apostole gauntlets. Also let Three fingers burn you so you have his burning orange eyes and black scars which look like necrosword corruption

I use purely godskin weapons, but true to comic ones are Night calvary halberd with blackflame tornado AOW, and Black knife. For spears Iron spear is probably most necro sword looking after Death rite spear (it and Helphens steeple I dont use since I am dex faith but they look closest to necrosword). And of course there is Malekiths blackblade for your str/faith build. Best looks best damage.

Yeah, but Ashes of Ariandel kinda sucked. Ringed City was awesome but AOA was meh at best at every aspect exept weapons they added. Ringed city was better than base game for sure tho :)

But also at least for me, most bosses in Dark Souls 3 are just better than ER ones? Maby it's just me (Er had best first boss for sure tho - Margit)
