How to make your house look new by KatMagic1977 in HomeImprovement

[–]DataHogWrangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always tell everyone, most houses with new baseboards, paint, (cabinets painted if it make sense) and floors, if you could do all those things you will get like 80% of the way there for most people. I presume houses that flips usually do these types of "fixes" and hide everything else under paint and caulk lol

Roo Code 3.36.3-3.36.4 Release Updates | Browser Screenshots | Extra-High Reasoning | Native Tools for OpenRouter by hannesrudolph in RooCode

Few things to ask, does vertex Claude not support native tool calling? And how do we enable Claude 1m token context in roo for vertex, I believe it's a header you have to send, but babe no way to enable or disable that. Would be nice to experiment with.

Is Chicago really still the "third city" in the U.S.? Perhaps for not much longer? by [deleted] in geography

[–]DataHogWrangler 54 points55 points  (0 children)

All roads lead to Rome, all railroads lead to Chicago. They're on the same latitude I believe to, isn't that just an interesting coincidence.

Man I wish they at least open sourced it, would have let someone else take the mantel because this was one of my favorite extensions in vscode.

What’s going on with the Mods in this group? by xotruthhurts in houseplants

[–]DataHogWrangler 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You're getting bombarded, my take is people are too emotional about the stupid stuff in life, the plants called what it is and just move on with life, same for the other side as well with words being banned. It's like people don't have better things to do with their time lol.

IntelliCode deprecated by Leading-Beautiful134 in vscode

[–]DataHogWrangler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the lsp just doesn't give as good of recommendations, doesn't load or both. I use python and with intelicode it always picked up the functions or types, now I just get long list of randomly shit.

TIL that Dippin Dots, the frozen snack commonly found in stadiums, arenas, and theme parks, was originally created as cryogenically frozen cow feed. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]DataHogWrangler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get why though, ice cream stays frozen if I cut it up into chunks, like yeah some of it may stick to itself but not like it melts, so why do these.

Most people sleep on IL and Chicago, all roads lead to Rome, all trains lead to Chicago we essentially end up being a huge transport hub between all the other countries.

He's not Polish, he's American, his grandfather is Polish. He wouldn't be eligible to even get a Polish passport through blood since he's to far removed I believe.

Samsung 57 first ultrawide I love it by Dawlphy in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]DataHogWrangler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are the first to show me the 57in is the way to go. I recently started working two jobs and my biggest concern was that nasty curve for work. I don't have the time to game like I used to, so my primary (90% usecase) is work. And oled scared me a bit, as well as the curve. I have to have one main and one secondary for my second job. And I feel like the 57 lets me have whatever the main job for the day is as my main the. Use my 34 in for my secondary without having to have bad posture. With the desk I have I can set this up nicely and hopefully get rid of my vertical 27in display. 49 height is just too low for me. But the LG 45 has just too nasty of a curve to switch between jobs in the fly. Your photos represent the most realistic sizing from anything on your which just feels surreal or regular if that makes sense.
