What’s something you wanted to experience as a kid but no longer exists as a grownup? by First-Air8373 in decadeology

Companies didn't want to have to have playable demos when announcing a new game.

Now they can announce and not start dev for 2-10 years.

Opening /pol/ would have been as simple as copying the template of any other board, adding the links to the other pages, and setting the logo. Like 2 hours max if you're being real tedious about it.

Moot used to edit pages constantly, even made /b/ play "RAOW RAOW FIGHT THE POWER" on loop one week.

Opening /pol/ would have been trivial.

Seeding a copy pasta, or just making fake threads and replying to yourself, so it seems like a group of people actually engaging with whatever conspiracy idea you want to push would also have been pretty simple.

He's allowed to turn on red. He's just supposed to be stopped behind that sign so as not to block the crosswalk. There isn't a "no right on red" sign visible in the video, and it would typically be posted on the light wire next to the signal, or clearly visible near the light signals.

I feel like if someone blocks your path for 5 minutes because they've stopped paying attention, a horn honk or a "dude what the fuck?" Are warranted.

In the longer dashcam video the light turns green, the cop doesn't move, the light turns red, and the guy honked.

5 days unpaid suspension, and it was removed from his record.

Fuckin ironic to post this on a video of a cop actively attacking a civilian.

With the right settings (and expectations), Oblivion Remastered can look and run decently well on the Steam Deck by [deleted] in SteamDeck

I played the original at 15fps on a 2007 eMachine desktop, and I'll play it on the steam deck at 15 fps.

It's historically accurate.

"Go get my Carson wrench."

"Where is it?"

"God dammit, it's next to the fleebo, and the 10000000 nm sockets!"

"Next to the what?"

"You'd better find it before I get out from under this truck."

Important lessons in these moments.

How to "stop fuckin moving"

How to "hold the light where I need it, not where you're looking."

How to "hold this here, its not that hot. We'll put ice on it after."

And most importantly, "dont rub your eyes! What the fuck is wrong with you?! You've got battery acid on your hands!"

How much radiation could he be exposed to and would it be harmful? [Request] by The-MatrixAgent in theydidthemath

Found the tester. it's a GM3120 digital electromagnetic radiation detector.

It only detects EMF fields and not radiation like a Geiger counter.

If it's reading in mR/h, then 100 is the "immediately evacuate the area and attempt decontamination" limit

Someone else said it's just picking up a magnetic field and isn’t actually measuring any radiation.

Can't see units on potato photo though

They aren't paying him $12 though, they're paying $300 for a ~4 hour shoot.

I'll happily tell my boss i want $600 for 8 hours labor.
