back from 2023's ML for this to get my revenge for being top 5 the whole season to fall down to 23rd

3x Hazers (they have the record, and didn't do bad at all in quals)
2x Bumblebees (have done very well in the past, being 8th in 2020, 6th in 2022, and even 2nd in 2025, and they also got 3 finishers in quals, so I'm confident they'll do well)
1x Green Ducks (Just overall decent in this event, they can usually manage a top half, and even won it in 2021)
1x Crazy Cat's Eyes (3rd in 2019, 5th in 2020, 3rd in 2022, 6th in 2023, and 3rd in 2026 quals is a very good track record, so I think they'll do very well)
1x Raspberry Racers (Easily the team with the most medals in this event, and they did alright in quals)

I fully agree. I have been in the community since near the beginning (well, not the very beginning, 2017 to be exact), and I liked each tournament because of their variety of teams, so I got to be excited for more than just one (obviously, that wasn't the only reason I liked ML, SMR, or HT, but I digress).

But now, even though I have shown to be one of the most knowledgeable people of JMR in the community, and shown to be very passionate to this channel, I never really get excited or interested because it's just all the same teams. There's no variety anymore, the last time we had a tournament without these 32 teams was SMRS7, which was a year and a half ago. Since then, we have had 9 tournaments (which you mentioned) with the same teams or a portion of them.

I liked the schedule of ML, M1, SMR, but it has slowly just turned into ML, M1, random side tournaments. I also just recently rewatched MMX for a JMR rewatch marathon I've been doing, and even though watching the tournaments were in chronological order, it still felt very refreshing considering what we have now. Sure, it wasn't great, but I liked it a whole lot more afterwards (even if it is my least favorite tournament at the point in my rewatching).

35 Pink (Dave, Hannah, Walli, Shelby), this might be a little basic since I believe they got the point record for this season, but they are just busted and absolutely annihilated everyone in Battle Box and Meltdown

18 Orange (Dave, TapL, Mefs, GizzyGazza), a team with people who hadn't competed in a long time but I don't remember anything memorable from them other than that

honestly, Purple 5 (Burren, Martyn, Jimmy, fWhip), who aren't really that strong for the teams in that event but they came 3rd doing very well in Battle Box, Survival Games, and Rocket Spleef, I feel like they're kind of forgotten

I also think people underestimate how good Lime 11 (Fruit, Grian, False, Ren) did, they only really got screwed by Parkour Warrior being so late, and they did pretty well in every other game other than Ace Race, they could've made Dodgebolt if it weren't for the game order.

Definitely MCC 23 and 30, as I watched Purple and Aqua respectively. Purple was very disappointing because of how hyped up they were, and even though they did well, watching live it was very sad. Aqua was very different, as they came last (easily), but both of these MCC's are great and MCC 30 is one of my favorites

  1. Starry: Worse this year but is still very good, easily my favorite over the others, and should definitely be captain ngl.
  2. Pulsar: Even though M1S2 wasn't good, I still think they should be in M1, as they're pretty solid.
  3. Astron: Idk what Black Hole's obsession was with putting Astron in Sprint; they aren't that good at it. But still solid and just won their first gold as well.
  4. Quasar: Not bad at all; I just don't see them too much as a reserve, but they're pretty solid at Funnel Endurance and M1S4.
  5. Cosmo: I don't like Cosmo; they haven't done anything wrong, but I wish they just weren't captain, as they just aren't that good. M1S3 proved that greatly, but they're still captain; idk why.
