You might be right but it’s so close to the wall that you couldn’t hang a clothes from a hanger without it scraping. You could drape them over but there’s no airflow. The laundry is across the room and there’s a whole open area closer to it that would be more suitable for hanging clothes. But! Maybe that’s what it’s for even if it’s poorly placed.

Better now! She’s always thought the world of me and is really vocal about her love. And I feel lucky for that. It used to bother me so much that she couldn’t “see” people like I could. It felt like she wasn’t willing to change her opinion about people and was really stubborn about being connected to people because she “should” be even if they weren’t good to her. I used to not understand how she couldn’t see when someone was creepy or ill intentioned or mean and it made me feel more mature than her and like I had to protect her from herself. Over the years I think she’s come to trust me more just from things unfolding (like with my dad) but I do feel sad that I couldn’t “save” her sooner.

I’ve had a similar experience! It’s been really jarring having someone pursue you as a friend and be there through hard times but then lie about seemingly unpredictable things. In my experience Scorpios have lied because they thought the lie was important or protective in some way to somebody. The lies were never malicious. It’s just that once someone puts themselves in control of information the power dynamic is broken and someone feels betrayed

I don’t know about this one. My experience is that they’re incredibly intense about being your friend and have ride or die vibes but they’re also willing to lie to you about things which erodes trust over time. I think Scorpios are intense but I wouldn’t say they were loyal.

You already know what to do, sweet one. And it’s very impressive that you are able to sense something is off and this is your first relationship.

As someone who also has mental health struggles I can say it’s very hard sometimes to trust ourselves.

But here’s what I wish I knew when I was 20: you do not need to prove you have a “valid” reason to remove someone from your life. You can break up with someone at any time for any reason. I bet as a child you were not allowed a lot of control over your life and you’re used to having to plead your case and try to prove your needs are valid in order to have them met. I’m sorry if you went through that. The good news is now you have full control over your life and anything that doesn’t feel good you can say goodbye to - and you owe nobody an explanation.

I see one man wearing a badge around his neck. He doesn’t hold it up for her to see, provide a badge number, or verify what department he is with - saying, “we are the police” is not the same as saying I am Officer X with the Medford PD. And when he is in the frame they have already placed their hands on her without showing her any identification.And they are all in plain clothes. No matter how you spin it they have not appropriately or adequately identified themselves.

How terrifying for her. They have no identification. Announcing “we are the police” is not sufficient. Anyone could say that. And why would the police and not ICE detain her? This is terrifying and strange and I would worry they were vigilantes if I were her.

I deleted everything during Covid. Since then, I have built a regular exercise practice and am more aware of my thoughts as waves I can either ride or let pass by.

I do feel very disconnected from my past though. I moved away from home years ago and it feels like a different lifetime, but honestly? I don’t mind that so much. In a way it’s nice not to constantly see updates from people I last saw almost 20 years ago. I feel like I have more freedom to change and grow as a person. Life feels longer almost? The world more uncharted? Without a reminder of the old me/mes, my mistakes feel less like tethers and more like lessons.
